Amazing job on my outdoor kitchen/patio. A co worker of mine told me about David and how he put in her fireplace and she’s in love with it so I thought I’d give him a chance. His attention to detail was spot on and prices were reasonable. He quoted me at 2250 and i put 50% down payed the rest when the job was done to my satisfaction according to him. Very nice and respectable young man(which is hard to come by now a days) showed up everyday on time and even finished ahead of schedule. If you want great work at a good price give this guy a call.

I give this one star but zero would be more appropriate. We are seniors and showed David, owner of D & A Lawn and Patio, the wrought iron fence around our stairwell outside that was falling down. He said he could build a stone fence in that location, tearing out the wrought iron one. To say we are dissatisfied is an understatement. This man told us it would be $ 1700 to build the wall of which he would need $ 850 up front. Fine, that seemed all and good. As the wall was going up it became quite apparent that the wall was crooked, the top was not level, and he blocked an electrical box with his concrete block. He went home, work unfinished, saying the concrete had to harden. I wish I would have knocked it down at that time it was so unprofessional looking. Anyway, he came back the next day and we told him that we wanted him to stop, which he rudely did, but he took all the stones I had paid for with him except he left a pile of broken cinder blocks on our property. We have spoken with him at length today and he refuses to return the $ 850 we gave him. Furthermore, he will not return the stone. If he had left the stone, we consulted a professional mason who said he could repair the work to look professional after removing a lot of what David did to straighten the wall and to level the top. Furthermore, the professional mason pointed out that the entryway to the stairwell needed to be 36 inches by code and David had vastly reduced that. So, it was not according to code, nor was it pleasant to the eye with being crooked and uneven. This man was very rude to us in our attempts to get our money returned calling us «whackos», «from Kentucky»(sorry Kentuckians, I don’t know what’s wrong with Kentucky), and other slurs. I want to tell you this man ISVERYPOLITEANDRESPECTFULASAREHISWORKERS, but underlying that now I see a man full of anger. I don’t recommend him and wish I had never met him.
