Was here for an event on Sunday night. Their wings, amazing!!! Just the right amount of flavor. The pizza was good but super saucy. It was a bit messy. I also enjoyed the BBQ meatballs. Nothing real significant about the alley, plenty of lanes, lots of bowling balls to choose from, shoe rental all pretty standard for a bowling alley :-)

This place has gone downhill over the years. This experience I was fortunate enough to get a lane that refused to return the balls, delaying and ruining all three games. Also, had to wait about 8 minutes to get anyone’s attention to rent the lane. Not a pleasant experience.

Terrible! Joined a league and have nothing but problems. Had a hard time even signing up, left numerous messages asking to join, kept being told the person in charge isn’t available and would call back. that never happened. I’ve been on other leagues at different alleys, thought I’d try this one because of proximity to home. Lanes break constantly, waitresses are over bearing and intrusive. Today we have over an hour wait to start bowling even though we already had our regular day changed to today! No apologies were made, no offers made to try and alleviate the inconvenience. Staff rude and inconsiderate. DON’T WASTEYOURTIMEOUTMONEYHERE.

Had a kid birthday party here. I wouldn’t come back here for that again. Total dysfunction and incapable staff. Cannot handle a large group. Never once came to check on us. Always me going to them when food was missing. Problems: Paid $ 60 for a cheese sausage tray, reminded them to bring it out, and I had to remind them again still 30 mins late… oh and they forgot the sausage… oh and the cheese was paper thin and curling up it was so dried out. Really? $ 60? Pizzas… again with the food not being ready!!! Had to wait a LONG time for food. I was embarrassed all of my guests were hungry! First couple pizzas finally came out around 45 mins after we got done bowling. FAIL. The rest came out a couple at a time. Guy in charge of the joint blamed ME for pizzas being late(My fault???) because we started bowling 15 mins later than original time. Seriously? Can you be more horrible with customers. We bowled an hour. Plenty of time for them to get organized. Pizza has VERY thin crust, they toss them there, not frozen. I love thin, but when you’re feeding a huge group it does not go very far at all. Then, they left a kid behind the bar who, guess what?, wasn’t old enough to serve alcohol. WTF? Why? Maybe if someone can’t serve alcohol they shouldn’t be bartending!!! Again… another wait. We didn’t let them ruin our good time, I liked the bowling pin they gave the Birthday boy as a souvenir and it was great that they set the tables all up for us. Cost was pretty cheap for all the people we had, too. But what total incompetence. Sad. Coulda really been great.

Came to Classic Lanes for a li’l Sunday morning open bowl(11am-12pm). Open bowl in Milwaukee seems a little tight on the weekends, as Leagues abound! As a kid I knew what that was all about– I bowled in Saturday morning leagues from when I was six until about Junior High. Classic is a great place to get your bowl on, but could also serve as a great place to just hang, drink some beers, shoot some stick, watch the NCAA games while eating 40-cent wings. Bowling was a snap and their shoes are brand new and not stinky. Lanes have electronic scoring for those who didn’t grow up with wishes of joining the PBA Tour! And they have Bumper Bowl available on every lane, which we enjoyed since my son and niece were with us. Our two games ran about $ 10/per person including shoe rental. Staff is helpful and friendly. The bar area is nice and big and open, and I’m serious– the bar would be a great place to catch the NCAA games. They’ve got volleyball nets for leagues in the summer, and plenty o’parking! Classic Lanes, stay classy!
