I can’t say enough about this place. I got the surgery about 2 months ago, and it was very successful. I was referred by an ophthalmologist in northern Indiana and was so happy with the results.
The staff is extremely nice and very helpful. I was very nervous to have the surgery, but the helpful staff made me more relaxed. Both doctors spend as much time as you need with you. If I were to have any issues, I feel confident that I would be able to see or talk to the doctors as soon as I needed to.
The price was reasonable compared to a lot of places I checked out (not that that should really be a factor when dealing with your eyes). And finally, when you have an appointment, that’s the time they see you. I don’t think I ever had much of a chance to even sit down in the waiting room before they called me back.
I highly recommend this place to anyone in the Chicagoland area that is considering LASIK.

just a piece of accurate information: its the cornea not the retina, and to think any lasik surgeon does not measure this thickness is absolutely ludicrous… nothing factual about that component of this review — its misunderstood and there is no way any doctor would tell a patient only they scan the cornea. This patient does not realize for example how a a complex corneal scan measured not only her corneal thickness but front curvature, back curvature and corneal thickness point by point via an optical analysis at lasik plus. Dr. Kraff absolutely performs a corneal analysis as well.

The staff IS great! Very warm and friendly, and Dr. Sloane was just exceptional. Also, their equipment and facility were both clean and modern so you’ll feel at ease as soon as you walk in. After my Lasik procedure, I only came back once for a check up and so far (it’s been only 3 months since my procedure) I don’t have any light sensitivity and the dryness everyone talks about is very minor. I only use my drops once or twice a day! Highly highly recommended.
