True, great facility and equipment but with it comes the Nazi control not just from staff but other members. Good luck trying to work out without be harassed about what you’re doing. Me, I was simply trying to run the track with my family but was harassed by another member cause we were not in the correct lane during peak hours when we tried our best to move around a crowded track. Let me also mention that we were also kicked out of the fitness studio. We simply did not know we’re not allowed to be in there because there is no sign or rules stating so. I have been a member of the YMCA for nearly 5 years and out of the all of them this is the only one I have had issues with almost every time I go. If you’re in the Southern Illinois area, best bets are Downtown Belleville or East Belleville.

This is by far the best YMCA I’ve been to in the metro area. We have since moved, and boy do we miss the O’Fallon Y. It is modern, kept very clean, and everyone is friendly. They have great classes — including kids swim lessons and swim team and karate. Membership is really affordable, too — assuming you use it!

Friendly but clueless. It seems like the only thing the people at the front desk know how to do is check people in. When initially signing up, it was a huge cluster and the classes with a serious workout are extra charge. Also the amount of small children in the locker room is uncomfortable. On a good note, There is constantly a staff member on cleaning duty and the fitness instructors always remember my name. Oh, and don’t let your payment be late… They will call you out in the foyer in front of whoever is around. Otherwise, I always get a good workout because there are plenty of machines and classes available.

Really nice facilities but very expensive for memberships. Lots of great classes offered but the aren’t included in membership. Members do get a discount on classes, but it isn’t significant. Gym/​workout area is not 24hr

Probably the best YMCA I have been to yet. I attended this for a local 5k and really enjoyed it there. Great staff, good location for running and it is pretty big.
