I’ve been here several times and have had okay service but after this last service I will never be back. I came in and got a gel/​shellac manicure and the nail tech, who is also the manager, rushed through the entire thing. She did not push back my cuticles so my nails looked tiny after she cut them. When I left I noticed that the gel was all over my skin. The gel is also lifting up on the edges. Don’t waste you money on this place!

My daughter and I have been going to this salon until Friday. The girl with the long brown hair was rude. ithink she is the owner. Her attitude is bad for business. My daughter asked her an opinion on nail color and was told that she was wearing it and couldn’t help
smile then couldnt finish and had someone else do her nails… geez! I thought I found a great salon but now I am searching for a new one… attitude is important when customers are paying for a service.

I have gone to this salon off and on for years. I agree with the comments about the technicians having different skill levels, but the facility is clean and the technicians are nice. However, what has occurred the last few times is having my hands jerked around while I get a manicure by the owner, Lynn. She is very condescending in maneuvering my fingers/​hands and making comments of do this not that, etc– at times almost hostile. Seriously? This isn’t the first time of having a manicure– and I have not received that attitude ever! My suggestion is to have her not work on customers, as her attitude is very abrupt.

The place is clean I will give it that. The lady was the most rude lady I’ve ever had my nails done by. I got a pedicure and talked me out of getting nails put on because she implied that since I had a baby that I couldn’t or shouldn’t!!. Crazy. This place was not busy at all and now I see why. She had an attitude from the start, jerking my feet around and yelling at me not to do this or that. Then she tried to talk me outa of the color I picked as well. Um hello?! Who’s paying money to get their toes done?! Needless to say I won’t be back. I’ll give it one star for one nice lady that spoke for everyone else. Now I can see why.

I’ve been going to Laboure Nail Salon for a few of months now and I visited the first time because it’s really close to my job. I usually would be the gel manicure. The first time that I went I was very pleased with my manicure. It was great and it lasted for 2 weeks. I went back and tried a different technician and the gel manicure started peeling within a couple of days. He painted my cuticles and everything.
If you are interested in a consistenly good manicure this may not be the place because all of the technicians are not equally talented or experienced. If you are a new client they may allow the inexperienced technicians to practice on you. I thought that that was what school was for… Maybe it’s me!
On a seperate visit I dropped my mom off for a treat after we met for lunch while I went back to work… MY BAD!!! The technician that was assigned to my mother did not speak english so my mom had to speak to the owner and the owner translated to the technician to let her know that «You’re hurting me» or «I dont want my nails that short». While she got a manicure the technician stepped on her wet toes and did not fix them. The manager, Lynn said that she would fix the smudged toe nails but didnt. Instead she offered her a reward card with 10 open spots for each visit. After 10 visits you receive a free manicure. She gave her two stamps… WHAT THE HECK!?! How about fixing her nails? My mom just left kind of sad.
If a specific technician hasnt been suggested to you by someone that has had a great experience… DONT GO. If there are alot of customers in the shop whether you have an appointment or not… RESCHEDULE. They will rush right through your services. Quality isnt a top priority at this salon.
I believe in quality and I dont think that its OK that some customers leave with quality sometimes or even most customers leave with quality… sometimes. I believe that every cutomer should leave with quality products and services everytime.
I might accept somethings when it comes to subpar customer service in exchange for convienence, great prices or awesome quality for myself, but after they treated my mom that way and allowed her to leave with her nails looking the way that they did. I definitely wont be back.

This is such an awesome nail salon. I have been going here since ²⁰⁰⁶⁄₂₀₀₇. The gals there are SUCH hard workers who take there time. They are all friendly and have great attention to detail. The salon is clean (which I’m sorry, is hard to find nowadays, most salons down hwy k are ghetto on the inside) and they have 2 huge flat screens plus a huge selection of magazines. I love coming in there for pedi’s. The massage is always great.

I’ve been going to Laboure for five years. Their attention to detail is solid, they’re respectful of their clients and they have a terrific selection of polish colors and nail treatments. In addition, they recently added the Gel manicures.
Great massage chairs, pleasant décor, solid magazine selection. They take reservations and walk-​ins. Slightly pricier than comparable salons but totally worth it.

This has to be one of my favorite nail salon in St. Louis/​St. Charles County. They have a grape seed oil pedicure that is absolutely glorious. They do a wonderful job of smoothing heels and getting all of the ick off of your feet. It may be a few extra dollars, but it is totally worth it.
I’ve always just walked in and never made an appointment. They do great eyebrow waxes too. They have all the new items that are on the market with the shellac and crackle.
Friendly, clean and sterile. Very important for any quality nail salon. Definitely recommend!
