This location is by far the best one of all the golden corrals. The servers are attentive, the food is usually always good and the management team is always working extremely hard right along side the employees to make the guest experience a good one. My kids love the food here and always beg to go back!!!

When we walked in we were greeted by a tired looking employee who wore wrinkled stained uniform clothes. She demanded my payment(did not say hello, welcome, or anything, just«that’s $ 14»). I paid with a 20 and she handed me back a 5 and a 1. I returned the 5 and asked for singles so I could tip the waitress, she responded«ugh, fine». At this point I noticed her uniform labeled her as a manager. I continued to my table, and got food for my son and I. while browsing the lines I see the same manager using clean plates and bowls to smack a cooks butt and joke around and play games with her employees. As we were eating the waitress cleaned tables around us. Her uniform was also wrinkled, untucked, stained, and she looked over worked and tired. She was extremely sweet to my son and very polite. About half way through the meal the manager comes to an empty table nearby, plops Down in a chair and props her feet up. She begins talking to the waitress, loudly complaining about guests, co workers, and home life. After 10 – 15 minutes she gets up and goes somewhere else. I return to the line to get more fruit for my son, however I am unable to do so because the manager is on the other side of the line gossiping with a cook while she reaches through with tongs getting fruit for herself. She does not say hello, she does not ask how my meal is, she doesn’t even acknowledge me or that I am Standing there waiting for her to be done so I can get fruit for my son. After this experience, I feel as though Golden Corral needs to choose better employees and especially better management staff. At this rate, the store will be out of business by the end of the year. I know that i won’t be back as long as management continues to be run this way. I hope you can get your act together again Golden Corral, this used to be a good location.

Clean with good service but some of the food didn’t look super fresh at 5:30 p.m. Steak was overcooked. Kids liked the biscuits and gravy and the desserts best.

The food is overpriced and bland as hell. Tried almost everything and it was just not good. Asked the grill guy for a medium rare steak and he just threw a steak on my girlfriends and my plate. It was well done, really well done. The food looks nothing like it does on tv. I would give it a negative star if it were possible. Wont be going back.

Oh wow, Golden Corral has really gone down hill… food wasn’t hot and didn’t taste good. I literally tried almost everything to find something I would enjoy but didn’t find it. So sad I really used to like their food but now miss Old Country Buffet… Definitely overpriced!

Right in the middle of dinner rush and the place was booming. Ran into our first problem with no trays. Not a big deal. We were seated, got our silverware, plates and headed up. Had steak which I recommend. As we sat eating our dinner is when all came crashing down. Started noticing stuff that would make a health inspector cringe. Trash everywhere. Trash cans overflowing and to close to the food. It’s nice they wear gloves, but doesn’t help it they touch the trash can and don’t change gloves. It was like there was no one cleaning! The back area was a mess. When one of the employees open the door to the wash area it looked like someone barfed while twirling. There was crap stuck to the walls, floor and the back door. This will be the last time we will be back. I feel I need to make a doctors appointment also!

I’ve been to Golden Corral a couple time and my last trip will be my last. The food is just way over-priced for the quality and service especially when entering the restaurant is horrible. Definitely will not be back.

We tend to hit here a couple of times a month, including yesterday about 4pm. Prior to this location opening we would visit the St. Charles location and frankly it’s a night and day difference. Much nicer layout, frankly I think the staff is nicer, and it seems like a better variety of food. Now I say that unless you are getting there early enough to catch lunch pricing(prior to 4pm) you might want to wait a bit(say 5pm) as everytime we’ve been in around 4pm it looks like a retirement home in there. That’s not a complaint or meant to belittle anyone; but the place is always absolutely packed with an older clientele which can make getting drinks refilled a challenge. Additionally — and I’m sure much to the server’s consternation — many of the older crowd sit around long after their meal socializing which makes turning tables more of a challenge. However, it seems by 5pm most of the older crowd has thinned out and service improves greatly. Food seems to run from above average to very good — although this varies based upon how busy they are and how quickly the food is turned. The one consistent challenge I have is getting a piece of steak that is rare or medium rare — on occasion I’ll find someone who will ensure it is as I asked; but often it’s medium or closer to medium well. Hard to complain as it’s not a «steak house»; but if you aren’t going to do it then don’t act like you are. The breakfast buffet on the weekends is pretty good, made to order waffles and omelets as well as plenty of other food. There is a juice machine that has orange juice and one or two other types as well that is part of the buffet which isn’t the case at most breakfast outlets. Additionally at least at this location Saturday morning seems slow(never tried Friday); but Sunday it fills up very quickly. All in all, for a buffet I’d give it a solid four stars — definitely at least a star better than St. Charles.

Actually, the food wasn’t bad. Real mashed potatoes which shocked me. The steak isn’t what I would call prime beef but it was palatable. If you’re looking for a lot to eat, you’ll leave here having accomplished your quest. Low calorie options are limited to lettuce, and a few veggies on the salad bar. You’ll also very likely see a few Walmartians when you’re there which can be «interesting».

I’ve had the golden corral off zumbhel and that place was nasty. Then I tried the one in Hannibal during hunting season and that was Good… but then I tried this… and man oh man it’s GOOD! Place is huge and everything looks so nice and clean! Friendly waitresses too. This is a good buffet. If your out this way… stop by this one :-)

We usually go to the Golden Corral in St Charles, but we were hungry and in the area so we checked out this brand new location. This restaurant is great for my wife and two young kids. Everyone gets what they want and we can make sure the kids get some healthy stuff on their plates. This location is very similar to the St Charles location, but better in every way. It was nearly as busy as the other location(we had a 5 minute wait on Sunday at 6pm), but felt less crowded because the tables aren’t as close together and everything is new, clean, and bright. All of the food was fresh and hot, plus there were some items that I don’t remember seeing at the other location, such as delicious fajitas, full size fried shrimp, and hand dipped ice cream. The staff was eager to please. Our waitress was obviously inexperienced, but she did her best to keep our table clear and our drinks filled. I informed the managers of a problem in the bathroom(automatic tap water was WAY too hot) and within 2 minutes he was on his knees under the sink addressing the problem. The food is still Golden Corral, so I don’t feel comfortable giving the restaurant 5 stars, but this place is about as good as a Golden Corral can get. It’s a great option for families and definitely worth the extra 10 minutes drive from Zumbehl &70.

Just tried their new restaurant off Mexico rd in O’Fallon Mo. I had a really good meal. So far this is the best Golden Corral I’ve been in. I even noticed that there was not as much salt on the food as the restaurant in St. Charles. The food set out was at it’s very best temperature, looked good and tasted great. I had a all around very good meal. Bathroom had water on the floor and was very slippery. They need to be reminded to give you your senior discount.
