Very rude people and nasty food. Stay away if you know what’s good for you. Sent nasty food back after eating two bites. Threatened by owner and some lady (if I didn’t pay for food that I didn’t eat they would call the police on me and my family). Called there bluff and told them to call. Threw cash on table for what I actually owed after owner told me to get the f*** out. Customer service non existent, portions small, and menu misleading.

Food and drinks were ok but the experience was ruined by a woman who i think was the owners wife. She didnt want to let me use my visa gift and yelled at us in front of everyone will never go back

Espinos Taqueria restaurant was ok not a place I would visit twice. My husband had chile verde the flavor was good, the portion was small the rice and beans dry. My son had fish taco both tacos over fried and dry. I had a carne asada taco which was very good. The best part of the meal was the guacamole.

Place was very quiet no one was in here besides the waiter. Which was very friendly and attentive to all our needs. We got the guacamole which is by far best in St. Louis. A must try. The enchiladas are on point. Definitely will be returning and no… The menu is not overpriced my girl and I ate and guacamole for $ 28 total.

Highly recommend the jalapeño poppers! And Dom is the best waiter I’ve ever experienced! So friendly and incredibly attentive.

Very nice place! Staff was attentive and the food was great. I will definitely be going back soon.

The pork chile verde is great!

So, it seems like they’re figuring it out… I’ve been quite a few times, and they have changed it up just since they’ve been open. The pork verde is awesome… and if you are in the neighborhood in the morning, get a pork verde breakfast burrito. You won’t be disappointed. In short, service is occasionally slow, but some of the dishes are delicious.

Live very close to this location and we were very excited, hoping to find a new awesome restaurant near us… We were very disappointed and will not ever return.
The menu was extremely overpriced as were the drinks. Then to top off the whole experience, the server spilled sour cream all over my fiancé’s black jacket. Now, instead of apologizing and grabbing napkins, she attempted to wipe it off of him, which in turn rubbed it in more. The food was mediocre and the drink was nothing special.

Went here with family, was seriously disappointed. It took an hour and a half to get food. The waitress wasn’t exactly pleasant. While the food was good, it was somewhat overpriced.

Do yourself a favor and just DON’T come here after an hour and 20 min with still no food, we just left. The entire patio was complaining about the lack of service across the board. Taco Bell would be a better option.

I have contacted the BBB after not receiving a response from Espinos. The denied everything, they lied in how they tried to help me. They lied saying they offered a gift card. No gift card was ever offered! So much rudeness and lies from this place! I recommend you avoid this place. There are other, better and more authentic Mexican restaurants in the area. I recommend you go down to Dos Primos in O’Fallon! I will never EVER eat here again, once again, I advise you to not eat there was well!

Great atmosphere with American décor and a small bar. If it wasn’t for the name you wouldn’t know they even served Mexican food. Food was great and not the prepared like the most of the local mexican restaraunts like El Maguay and such. The issue is the service. We went with another couple and our converstions flowed enough to be patient with the delay in getting our orders but If it had just been the two of us we would have walked out. Forgotten drink orders happened as well. We saw our drinks sitting on the bar for quite a few minutes before our waitress handed them down to us. The restaraunt was clean and the staff was pleasant but they seemed overwelmed and they were not that busy. 4^th time there and will probably go again If the place is nearly empty. Please fix the service issues!

Disappointing. Fish tacos were not good. Service was worse. Asked for a refill of tea and never got it. She never came back except to pick up the plates. Best part of the place is the décor.

Just bad… service and food, tasteless… service, a lot of excuses for why it took so long from the time we ordered to actual delivery of food on the table. Had to ask several times for utensils, napkins and straws.

This was close to the worst service I’ve ever received at a restaurant in my life! One waitress was obviously not having a good day. The other waiter didn’t care. My husband waited for a refill through eating his entire meal. Our food was gross and overpriced! The manager’s «sister» was at the bar the entire time and when she finally came over she took a meal off our check. I still can’t believe they expect people to pay for chuck roast with a jar of green salsa dumped on it! Seriously? Go somewhere else.

The service was below par… our waitress seemed as though she did not really want to be there. I would say thank you for water and salsa refill and she never acknowledged. We felt the food was not as good as most Mexican restaurants we have been to. I would not go there again. I don’t regret trying it. We find some of the best places by giving a restaurant a try. Service is a huge part of the experience. The décor was adorable.

It wasn’t good enough for me to want to go back.
The décor is nice and it’s a comfortable place.
The food was just okay and the food took too long.
I will go back, just not in hurry.

Not bad for what STL has to offer. Not authentic but best within the area. I saw the other location on triple D so I thought id try it out. The tv shows always say how excellent everything is, maybe they should for once be honest and tell people how bad something sucks lol

New format makes it like the Chesterfield location without as high of quality of food. The fast service format had fresher food and didn’t have to wait for a server.
Offer the full menu that Chesterfield has and better food quality and they might have something going.
