Dierberg’s is arguably one of the finest chain markets in the United States. And within that chain, the Dierberg’s in O’Fallon Missouri is amongst the finest of them. Just like all of the Dierberg’s stores, they have an impressive variety of merchandise, along with many progressive/healthy foods such as a large section of organic fruits and vegetables, and many vegetarian and vegan selections. In addition to that, they seem to take great pride in selling many locally grown fruits and vegetables and locally manufactured beverages and dinners. The layout of the store is pleasing to the eyes but more importantly, the store is extremely clean. I shop there every day and I haven’t seen a time when the store wasn’t neat and clean. But the greatest asset of this particular store happens to be the people who work there. They are the friendliest bunch of people I have ever seen in any business. They give the store a down home feel, and make you, as a customer feel special. It is actually a treat for me to shop there. I would put this market up against the very finest in the world. And as far as price is concerned, there may be some items that could be somewhat pricey, but you do get what you pay for and Dierberg’s sells quality. As far as their competition, Item to item, I have seen many times Dierberg’s priced better. Not all the time, but many times. And I do not shop just to save a few pennies if it means going to a dirty store with bad service. I much rather have a pleasant shopping experience and not worry about a few pennies saved here and there. As I write this review I feel inclined to tell you that I do not work there nor do I own stock in the company LOL, this is a totally honest review!

I really love Dierbergs. My family shopped here growing up. And I also worked here when I was in high school. I worked in salad bar and I can honestly say they do a phenomenal job at being sanitary and they truly care about giving their customers the best service and products. Everyone who works at this location is so sweet too. The worst part is that they are overpriced. But sometimes service and quality really do beat that, and I guess that’s how they do it! Also if you don’t see an item that you really want, be sure to ask a manager! They typically can order it for you!

I’m a fan of Dierbergs, not because they over price a majority of their items but for the confidence they provide for a customer. When I walk in here, I feel like it is very organized for a large store. I’ve found its easy to find what I’m always looking for. I like that they have a «real» large smoker out in the front of the parking lot to produce their«Bob’s Signature BBQ», which isn’t bad at all. I like that they employ a sushi chef on staff to produce sushi lunch platters. They have a massive organic, and gluten free section, that aisle is fun to explore… and a surprisingly excellent selection of alcoholic beverages and wines. Now, this may seem weird, but it’s also not a bad place to literally get lunch and chill there… I mean I’ve done this before. and I know I’m not alone here… allllll the other old people around town are doing this too. I haven’t done this as of late, but there was a time where I’d mosey around the deli’s sandwich es and all their other lunches they have pre-made and chilled. I’ll grab a huge chocolate milk or a bolthouse drink and check out right? By the exit they have a seating lounge, with cheap soda vending machines, lotto machines, and a redbox. The area also has a microwave! Maybe it’s the employee lounge, I dont know… but I seen the elderly do this and i caught on. I’d go mosey around the store, pick up lunch and snag some scratchers, and entertain myself. Its all good fun.

Good grocery store, until the Dierbergs marketing machine felt that adding«Dierbergs Deli» to the roadside restaurant list. So a grocery stores«deli» is on par with a restaurant? Really? Well, then I suppose that the Wal-Mart and Target ‘snack-bar’ should be added as well. Why not also put the snack-bar for the local movie theater on there as well?
