I was in town for a weekend in October and picked this hotel. The first night we were there, someone broke into my car in the parking lot and stole my GPS. Not the best security, to say the least. I couldn’t get a repair company out until the morning, so I notified the front desk. His response was«and?» When we asked if they had tape so we could put plastic over the window, he informed us that they were not a hardware store. I spoke to the manager the next morning about the desk attendant. He said they would be happy to comp one night and I was welcome to stay the rest of the weekend at my regular rate. No offer to pay for the window, nothing. We left and stayed somewhere else and had the rest of the fam cancel their reservations. I would avoid this place if I were you!

Very nice lobby and staff. However, when I pulled back the comforter there were a couple of holes burnt into the blanket and a stain on the sheets. I called the front desk and she brought up a new set of sheets and a blanket. Very apologetic for the inconvenience. The towel that I was going to use had hair on it that was not mine which was gross. Needless to say, I didn’t want to walk on the floors without socks from that point on.

It was late and we were too tired to go elsewhere. Big mistake as I hope to not get sick from the mold growing in the most discustingly filthy AC I’ve ever seen. It’s like the owners gave up on even trying to maintain this place many years ago. The carpet’s black with traffic trails and more stains than you could count with a general filth everywhere. I didn’t want to touch anything or breathe the stale mildewy air. If you’re reading this before taking the exit drive on even if late. Authorities should shut this place down as a danger to public health at least until it gets a major renovation.

A very nice instance of a Big Box hotel. We had a wonderful room on the first floor, comfortable bed, nice breakfast buffet, ample hot water to soak away the woes of the road. But here’s what you often don’t get when your Big Box is tucked in right off of the highway. A quick walk to the north – really less than a block – and you’re in a pocket of wildness and birds called Belleau Lake. A bit swampy when I was there due to heavy spring rains, but a nice break for a road warrior at the end of the day.

I had seen some negative reviews of this place elsewhere online, so I was pretty nervous. We were driving cross country with our dog, so our hotel options were limited. However, our room was clean(I also checked for evidence of bed bugs and found none), the staff was very friendly. Can’t expect much more for the price paid, and it’s a fine place to crash.
