Civic Park

The only thing that could make this place better is if the pool was just a little bit bigger. Otherwise, it’s a perfect spot to cool off. Slides. Diving board. Lazy river etc. $ 5 mon resident easy on the pocket

Free jammin concert every Tuesday this summer! Cha cha chow food truck is here along with kona ice. They bring in different food trucks every week, plus there are usually a hot dog, kettle corn, and beer vendor there. This park is great! It has a HUGE place for events i.e. birthdays, other party’s, bands obviously. There is a nice walking trail through the park. It is paved. Plenty of playgrounds for kids, scattered within sight. Alligator creek, is present near the park. That is the O’Fallon city water park and pool. It’s pretty cool and not too expensive for city residents. There are plenty of field to toss a frisbee or football around, and plenty of field to kick a soccer ball about. This is park is also a stomping ground in the winter time for sledding. Most definitely a great time in the winter as well as it’s summer festivities that it holds.
Any way, this evening they had a Bob Seeger tribute band play and they were pretty darn good. My kid was jamming to the music. I’m looking forward to next week’s…they are going to have a jazzy concert. I had mentioned that cha cha chow was here… they are alright i guess. I’ve definitely had better food trucking experiences. They are just a bit overpriced for what they serve, at least they have minimal options. Hey cha cha chow… serve your food hot guys! Depending on the next truck they have out here in old O’Fallon, I’m gonna be sticking to the gourmet hot dog vendor… they looked like they had some good stuff. The fundraising is done by the kettle corn company… their stuff was off the chain. City of O’Fallon, keep doing your thang, I’m liking the free concerts here, and I enjoy having em here in good ol’ Civic Park.
Way back in the day, long, long ago… This was the park where the city set off their 4^th of July fireworks for the whole town. Way too dangerous now, just a fun memory of mine.

This park is a lovely little establishment in north O’Fallon. Located right next to the aquatic center, it has a couple of quaint playgrounds and picnic tables around where you can enjoy picnics and social gatherings. It has some walking paths that surround the whole park too.
Bring the kids out to play and enjoy the park. It isn’t a huge place, but it is very nice and relaxing. Make sure you take the time to hang out on the two-​peron swing while you’re at it!
