I have been going to Christine for over 10 years now. She has made me just about every color under the sun, she has fixed horrible home nightmares, helped me grown my fine hair long, and indulged just about every one of my hair fantasies. This past year, she did my wedding-​there is no one I would have trusted more for this milestone in my life. I have to say, she is THE best hairdresser and colorist in the biz. Not only is she talented and professional, but she has a kind heart and is extremely caring and honest with her clientele. Christine has been honest with me about the limitations of my hair (where many hairdressers are more than willing to collect the high price tag for a process that might damage my hair); and will refuse to do a process simply because it is the right thing to do. The vibe at her salon is a positive one, located in the heart of Nyack, it’s an upscale salon with a soho-​y vibe. People are always relaxed and everyone talks to each other! It truly is a special place and Christine truly is one of a kind — her services are worth every cent! I HIGHLY recommend her salon to everyone I know. You will not be disappointed!!!

I moved out of Brooklyn recently and won a haircut in raffle from my community garden for this spot. I have to admit that I was hesitant to get my hair cut outside of the city. I’ve lived there for 13 years and thought I would always truck myself in to get a decent cut. I was wrong. This place is amazing. The owner is incredibly talented, joyful and professional. I can honestly say that it’s probably the best haircut I’ve had in years. Hipster B.S. can’t compete with intrinsic skill. I met and mixed it up with some amazing women from the area and left feeling uplifted and connected with the amazing community I live in. What more can you ask for?

I have been going to Christine at Christine Cordey for almost 10 years! She is just as talented as she is sweet. My color is always perfect and my cut is always on trend but the best part is the experience her salon offers. It has the most relaxing atmosphere, I compare it to a friends living room! I could spend the day there, in fact sometimes I do! Christine has a heart of gold and a talent above most! I highly recommend the salon to not only come out with a new style but new friends as well!

If you’re looking for consistently fantastic haircuts, styling, and color in a warm, attentive atmosphere, this is your place! Christine and her staff are so lovely, they make you feel right at home. I also love that Christine frequently gives back generously to our local Nyack community.

This salon was a revelation. I needed a fairly local salon after drudging to the city for years, and Christine’s name came up during an online search. The reviews were uniformly positive, but I really didn’t know what to expect. Let me tell you that I have had my hair colored in some rather prominent salons: nothing matches Christine’s handiwork. The color she applied is not only vibrant and beautiful, but it suits my face perfectly. And the salon’s staff is lovely; there are no hard sells here, just kind people wholly invested in enhancing your appearance and giving you a reason to feel good about yourself. I have never written a review of a salon in my life, but that changed today after my experience at Christine Cordey. As of this afternoon, I am a client for life.

Christine and her co workers opened up her salon to me and my bridal party the day of my wedding. She closed the salon off to other customers, had mimosas and bagels and treated us like we were family. Best start of the best day of my life thanks to her!

On June 12 th I had a keratin treatment done by Christine, it is the best thing ever. I have thick, coarse hair and it takes forever to dry and straighten it. Now I can let it air dry or blow it dry and it is straight and smooth. The new salon is beautiful and the staff are very nice. Love this place, check it out.

From the very first time Christine cut my hair I knew she was special, she knew exactly what I wanted and needed out of a hair cut. I have very thick wavy hair and it was once very long and I desperately needed a new style. She not only cut several inches that needed to go but the style had people saying I looked years younger. Yay! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. I am so happy for her that she has opened her own place!
