I have only had the pizza. It is just ok. Nothing great about it, not bad but not great, just average. In Northern NJ, you have to do better. The regular pie price at $ 11 for pick-up is ok but their specialty pies are priced too high.

I’ve been a loyal customer since they opened their doors a few years ago and they always had a good product with good customer service. Last night I ordered a Vegetable pizza. It arrived so SOGGY that that I had to eat it with a fork and knife. I couldn’t even finish one slice, so I called them back to get a replacement and spoke to the manager who told me that I should expect a veggie pizza to be soggy due to the vegetables. He also told me that if I wanted a replacement, I’d have to pay for it! The pizza restaurants at the food court at any mall can make a NON-SOGGY veggie pizza. I informed the manager about the length of my customer loyalty; he told me «sorry» then HUNGUPTHEPHONEONME! So for $ 21(Pizza + tip for the driver) I basically received what tasted exactly like wet bread with some sauce and vegetables on it. Its honestly a little painful to write this review. Ive been a happy customer for a few years and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. I was shocked by this experience and Lou’s has lost my loyalty and my business.

Have eaten in the restaurant and have had delivery and have no complaints. Girls who answer the phone are always pleasant and the pizza is one of the best in Nutley. Surprisingly the cheeseburger is very good as well… wouldn’t expect that from a pizza parlour. Restaurant is clean and delivery is usually fast. A good neighborhood pizza place.

Great pizza and very quick delivery. They have huge calzones that are absolutely delicious and salads are fresh with no brown or soggy lettuce. Always friendly when you call and actually listen to your delivery instructions. Give them a try and you won’t be disappointed.

We ordered a grandma’s pie, which was $ 18 for 8 slices, so the pie certainly wasnt cheap. And the food wasn’t at all worth the money, either: the crust was hard and tasted stale, and the sauce and cheese were fine but not noteworthy. Far from impressive. Workers there were very kind, though.

Haven’t been back since our first review, and really not sure why we waited this long to return! The chicken parm hero is tops, and the cavatelli and broccoli was delicious! Can’t wait to try the pizza! Prices are low too!

I ordered a grilled chicken, roasted peppers and fresh mozzarella wrap from here. I could immediately tell after taking the first bite, that the chicken was freshly prepared and wasn’t precooked sitting on a counter all day. Its only a wrap so you cant expect much, but it was well executed and had a good amount of cheese and peppers, but not enough to over power the wrap. The one complaint I have would be about the balsamic vinaigrette that came on the side. The oil to vinegar ratio was off. It needed more oil and maybe some salt and pepper to really make this wrap spectacular. Overall it was a very good wrap and I would order it again.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Ordered a turkey sub. Place is bright and clean. Waitress very sweet, greeted me with a hello and a smile when I walked in. Lots of kids drawings on the wall. Friendly atmosphere. Sandwich was very good. Fresh bread and ingredients. I’ll be back.

Good pizza. Solid chicken dishes. My favorite is chicken marsala and it is a TON of food for a great price. Every time I am craving italian this is where we get it from and we always have leftovers for the next day. Definitely recommend.

The food is just ok. Not crazy about the owner I find him to be rude. With all of the other places in Nutley, this is definitely not my favorite not impressed.

Loue’s is a very good NJ Pizza. Sauce is tasty. Spiced nice. Not sweet. The crust has Flavor. They are Not stingy with the Mozz. on a Reg Pie with Cheese. You can order right on line and chose well done, extra well done or even Burnt crust ! Which is awesome I must say. I even a had a burger from here. It was So Good. Better than Zin. Finally there is good Pizza in town again. All the St. Louis Bar type thin crust Pizza like Ralph’s and Michael’s and Sun Tarvern are good. But they are Not a NJ Pizza Pie !!! NJ Pizza Pie you have for dinner then eat cold for breakfast, :) Those Thin crust places for $ 15 a Pie only feed 1 or 2 people. No leftovers ever. To small and over priced. TRYLOUE“S. It is pretty darn good.

Caught a last minute craving for good pizza. Thought of the 5 pizza joints closest to me but ended choosing Loue’s. Well I am glad I did. Only my second time having their Pizza n it wont be my last. The place is clean simple and enough room to sit back with a few friends and enjoy your food. I noticed 1 T.V. and the game was on. They have not tables but a couple of aidirondack chairs outside for the impromptu can’t wait to get home and eat my slice lol. I think their hanging for the long haul.

Great pizza and sandwiches. My daughter loves the pizza and my wife likes the salads. They give huge portions so good value for your money.

Great food, clean place, friendly service. Might be the best pizza in the Nutley and Clifton area. Their Greek salad is great. It’s huge, loaded with seasoned chicken, olives and feta. I bring my 4 year old there. All the workers go out of their way to talk to him, joke with him. Just a nice family place with great food. Their delivery worked out well. Honestly, I only used it once. Usually we eat there or I pick it up. But it was on time.

We keep going back to this little gem. Our first experience we did a Sicilian pie with fresh garlic. Amazing! Sauce was fresh, bright in color and just right with the cheese. We had a large chef salad. The second time we went back with no kids and tried two chicken dinners which came with salad and pasta. More than enough good with leftovers coming home with us. BYOB is nice too. Staff is friendly and remembers us now as we like extra bread and hot peppers with salad. Parking is limited but on a Saturday night we still had no problem parking close. We had frequented Bruno’s in Clifton but sometimes the wait can be longer.

Beats all other Nutley joints. I’ve tried them all since moving here and have been relatively disappointed, especially the places that reviewed so well. I happened to find Loue’s and gave it a shot and it’s become my one and only. The pie is superb. The sauce is nice and bright, with great tomato flavor, plenty of cheese and a nice crispy, chewy crust that rivals anything you’ll get in NYC. Also, the prices are astoundingly good! My last order I also decided to splurge and add on a Greek salad and a slice of cheesecake. The salad was far larger than I expected, fresh and well made. The cheesecake was good — nothing special, but good. Lastly — I detest talking on the phone and I really don’t enjoy placing orders over the phone. Loue’s has online ordering! Their website is kinda amateurish and ordering is a little odd, but everything works right, including online payment, so who cares what it looks like?! I’ll be back, I need to order some pizza. Save some for me Loue!

I try to avoid«fast food pizza» like Pizza Hut and Papa John’s at all costs because they are so processed and really greasy. Fortunately, living in north Jersey gives you plenty of choices for pizzeria home-made style pies. Being born and raised in the area I have tried many of the pizzerias around here and most of them serve a pretty good pie with a few that just don’t compete. Loue’s Place is among the best. I went here for the first time a few weeks ago and tried the chicken, bacon, and ranch pie they had in the display counter. It was phenomenal. But what about their more traditional stuff? Well that was delicious as well. With so many similar places in an area, kinda like the way it is with Chinese food, it is tough to stand out. These guys manage to do it… and in such a flooded market that can’t be easy.
