Would not recommend using Core. they are a corporation and treat patients like it is all about the money. There is no way to directly call the doctors office (the only # is a toll-​free # and connects you to a service operator in Arizona), and they will not treat you or see you in their office unless you pay any outstanding balance first, even $ 20 copays … so much for the doctor’s pledge (or whatever they call it). We see other doctors who either request payment at end of appt, or are willing to send a bill. The doctor’s there are knowledgeable and appear to genuinely care for their patients, it’s just a shame that patients have to deal with a corporate approach and poor patient services. Their billing department is unreasonable as I am being billed for an «out of network» doctor when he is «in network», and they refuse to reimburse the out of network copays until treatment is ended… so I’m to continue paying out of network copays because they are unwilling to correct their system and reimburse me until after 6 – 8 months of treatment???

When looking for an Orthopedic Physician, I’m looking for one that is the best in their field, if need be squeeze me in when it’s really important, has excellent Medical Assistants, understands an athlete’s needs, and has all rehab services in a one stop shop. I found the right place for orthopedic services.
After having a cycling accident and a triathlon in two weeks, Dr Michaelson squeezed me into his busy schedule to evaluate the injury and made special arrangements to review my MRI results quickly to determine if I could participate in the upcoming race. Dr Michaelson, a triathlete himself, understood my injury, my needs, and necessary recovery steps. The staff on the phones, MA’s, x-​ray techs, and physical therapists were outstanding. Their customer service is top notch!
I mentioned physical therapists. They have physical therapy right in their office. There was no need to track down another place and build a relationship. It was comfortable and convenient to have it all in one place.
I hope not to have any other injuries, but if I do, this is the only place I’ll go.
