I have been an ebay fan since the concept was introduced back in 2000. I often purchased items that I couldn’t find else where. Then when I discovered that I could make some extra money I began selling items on ebay. Once ebay became saturated I got bored with it and I stopped selling my stuff. At that point I decided to check out the«isold it» stores that began to pop up. I had some items that I didn’t want any more so I decided to try this place out. I took in an authentic Fendi baguette and a couple pair of jeans(Rock Republic and Blu Cult). Upon examination of my Fendi bag it was determined that the clerk(some high school kid) could not determine the authenticity of the bag. I didn’t know what was worse. Questioning my integrity by insinuating that I was trying to sell a fake as authentic or the fact that he assumed I would be carrying a knock-off. He obviously didn’t realize I had been trained by the best — Carrie Bradshaw! HELLO! After that I decided not to even go through with the selling of my items. I sold them myself on ebay and received the positive feedback I knew was my authentic Fendi bag was deserving of. My thought is if you can’t tell a real from a fake you shouldn’t be in the business of selling anything!
