This place is great unless the owner is working there. The other Unilocal reviews are right about him. He holds his employees to insane standards, but the rules do not apply to him, apparently. He is incredibly rude and pushy, and he only appears to be concerned with making money and not keeping customers (see his responses to other reviews). Every interaction I have had with him has been very unpleasant, so if you see the bald white guy working, best to come back another time or just avoid this place altogether. Otherwise, no complaints.

Great smelling place. Bathroom is clean as a whistle and also smells good. The workers diligently work to create a calm nice eatery. Love froyo, yo.

TuttiMelon Novato is awesome. Great selection. Tastes great. Flexible amounts. I have four young kids, if not more with me. It’s a great value, and they love it.

Delicious yogurt. They’re very community minded and donate to all local schools and sports leagues. On special occasions, they give magic spoons!

Love the gelato here! My favorite is the strawberry. I saw some other flavors that were hard to pass up. I’m not big on the fro yo scene (getting a big cup of yogurt and covering it with random toppings). I always go there first and check out their flavors then I remember the Gelato. I end up getting that. They throw a free cookie on it for you too. One thing I forget about almost every time though… The magic shell by the register. I love that stuff. If you haven’t had it and you like chocolate I highly recommend giving it a shot. I saw that they had some cool T– shirts on the wall for sale. Not sure how much they are but they have cute logos. I’m deducting one star for the chick behind the counter. She looked like a teenager so my expectations were low. When there was no line she basically went around having free samples of the different flavors. Then some cute guy came in (they obviously knew each other) and they sampled the yogurts together. Then a 2^nd homie showed up and joined the sampling party. A random customer lady had to come break it up asking for her own samples. Well this didn’t affect my experience much but I did find it unprofessional.

They have a sugar free option that is SUPER low in calories, but still tastes like the real deal. Try the pistachio flavor!!!

OK I am writing an update to my nasty review years ago. I have gone back in there after sometime away and the male owner has changed for the better. He is no longer rude and really goes out of his way to be helpful and friendly. I have forgiven him for his cold demeanor and size it up to stress from starting a new business. They always hire good staff, keep the place very clean and YES they have excellent frozen yogurt. They change it up with different flavors and also keeping the tried and true flavors for the repeaters. I hang my head in shame as to my bad review and now I highly recommend this place. I am a fan again.: D

I’ve been back numerous times. This is the best, cleanest, most delicious choice for frozen yogurt in Marin.

Favorite frozen yogurt in Marin! Always changing their flavors but keeps the standard flavors around. Lots and lots of toppings options for your froyo. Also has a wide range of gelato options. (The Strawberry Gelato is my fav :)

The owner of this place definitely takes pride in his business! Everything is always so clean and looks great! I go here almost everyday after work to grab a treat for my coworker and myself, and we both love the gelato and fro-​yo! All the ingredients are sooo fresh, which makes the product absolutely delicious! Also, all the fresh fruit is changed regularly so it is the best you’ll find! This place is such a breath of fresh air in a world that has been taken over by self-​service frozen yogurt shops that are not properly maintained. I have recommended this particular location to many friends, and plan to recommend it to many more!

If you are only coming here for the gelato… Just know that this gelato is served in multiple locations, in different ice cream shops all over… And you won’t get charged extra for two more strawberry slices. I will literally never be back. What kind of an owner argues with a loyal customer? You may be there 60 hours a week but when I come in almost every night, you are NEVER there. I would rather drive 30 minutes into San Francisco than return. Get your sh*t together… What a joke! And maybe start giving out receipts instead of charging a fortune for a tiny scoop. Most of the staff is helpful and kind but that’s about all of the positive I can find in this place.

Very high quality yogurt and toppings. Clean, fun, and comfy atmosphere. Yogurt is on the pricey side, so don’t let your kids over-​serve themselves!!!

They provide plastic spoons to eat with that are not recycled. Damn shame in this day and age. I suggest bringing your own spoon from home or complaining to the business about this sooooo 1970 practice of throw away plastics.

They get an extra star because their gelato is quite delicious. But their customer service is awful (specifically referring the OCD gentleman behind the counter), the portions are stingy, and it might just be the most expensive ice cream/​yogurt shop in Marin. Having once worked in an ice cream shop back east, during the college days, I know that customer service is a major part of the role. If they could just loosen up a little, and quit being so cheap with their portions, they would have it made! Seriously, some of the best gelato I’ve ever had. But as good as it is, I’d much rather support a business that has a positive atmosphere. We’re talking about ice cream here, people. Relax!

When this spot first opened a few years ago I was very excited to try it. They offered a lot of great flavors and several different candy style toppings and fruit toppings as well. But their customer service was SERIOUSLY lacking. I stopped going in due to that reason alone. About a month ago a friend wanted to stop in so I gave them another chance. I am so glad I did. They must have read or heard their skills we’re subpar. Not only were they pleasant, they were downright friendly, chatty, and out on the floor offering samples. That’s not something I remember them doing before. Yay for listening to your patrons!

Walked in on a Thursday before a work meeting to grab myself a little treat. I tried the crème brûlée gelato. It was pretty tasty! I ordered the smallest size, and the scoop was much smaller than the already small cup. For nearly $ 5, I would expect a little bit of a larger portion. Despite being thrown off by how small the portions were (in relation to the cost), the woman working was pleasant and friendly, the place was clean, and the gelato was tasty. I would come back again if I felt like throwing some money away on a frozen treat.

Owner is a control freak and makes children feel bad if they make a mess while trying to scoop toppings. We’ve boycotted this place before because he made my children feel bad. They are lovely well behaved children that accidentally spilled a few crumbs while scooping toppings. As a mother, it is a horrible experience to have my children feel this way when goig to get what is suppose to be a fun treat. It happened again today, and my daughter just bent her head down as she felt bad. Get it together buddy!!! Your stafff and product is lovely, but YOU need to stay out of the cusomer scene!

I love TuttiMelon! Some frozen yogurt places open and close as they do not really get it. Tutti gets that they need to have consistent and delicious flavors of frozen yogurt, not just fun toppings. I think some people think, «oh I’ll open a yogurt shop and make lots of money». It is a hard food and service business, only the strong and yummy prevail. I have always had great service, it always looks clean and it’s delicious. My favorite flavors are tart and taro.

For all my vegan friends heading to Marin on a hot day, give this place a try. The reason I suggest this is instead of just offering a fruit flavored dairy free treat (there are 4 of those too!) they also had a coconut flavor. I don’t think I am the only vegan out there that is completely unimpressed with fruit flavored «sorbet». It does not mimic the creaminess or texture of ice cream enough to even bother. However, the coconut was very full of flavor and once it got a little warm it was nice & creamy. The small is actually 2 scoops so it was more than I wanted and wasn’t any more overpriced than all the other ice cream shops out there. My husband ate the dairy yogurt and wasn’t impressed with the flavor intensity. He is not interested in going back but I stand behind my 3 stars for the coconut flavor!

I love the flavors that they have. They always have my two favorites, plus other unique options. They also carry gelato. My favorite is the variety of toppings. Cinnamon topping that is delicious and these little juice popping balls about the size of an eraser head. So delisch! They stay open late on Saturday night so you can get some after the movies. Just becareful when filling up your cup. It can get expensive. Don’t forget to get the discount card. Super yummy!
