Walked in to browse, exited sixty bucks lighter. They had a great clearance sale on scarves (five bucks each) and jewelry (purchased several pieces 75% off). I also picked up a few decorative containers for the bathroom and an owl statue for the backyard. Usually when I venture in here it’s my style to just peruse and investigate the clearance sections. Often their normally priced items are way overpriced and given patience will eventually be available for discount after a month. They do have beautiful eye candy pieces but this store is mostly like a museum where I will look but not buy unless it’s deeply discounted.

Purchased an elephant bookend before Christmas not realizing that it was part of a set. Went in today and grabbed another one to purchase thinking it was 24 dollars for one. The Store Manager Ryan brought up that it was a set and I explained I have purchased the other one before Christmas. With no questions asked and no recipe he just immediately removed the charge.
The store is great but the customer service is outstanding and that will always bring me back. When someone goes out of their way to provide it, that is priceless.

I have shopped in Pier 1 stores all over the country (U.S.). Although they are all good, I have found the Novato, CA store to be an outstanding one. Their customer service is off the charts, it is so good! I have been told by sales reps that it has a lot to do with their manager. Kudos to this store and their staff!

The lady there was so nice greeted me when I came in helped me looking around. I didn’t even know they had a sales paper she helped me sign up to get one and everything super nice. I the store was quite and not overly crowded.

This is the second Pier 1 Imports I’ve been THRILLED to enter in the last week… really, what does that say about me?!
This time I was assisted by a super nice lady and found even more than last time… My first super exciting find was the match to my awesome curtain I bought last week. Now my curtains actually cover the whole window :) I also found another curtain for my other window (also on sale!), two cute little rugs (on sale!), and a bracelet (not on sale but $ 8 and I’d been thinking about it for a week and thought I deserved a little present…).
I was one of two customers in the entire store and really enjoyed my private Pier 1 shopping experience!
