really frustrated to have had this experience as I LOVE in-n-out. Tonight we ordered two combo dinners to go, when we got home we discovered that they only gave us one French fry despite us having paid for two! It was to late to go back once we were home, really put a damper on dinner.

Most of the time Novatos in n out is delicious and great. However I’ve had a bad experience in the drive thru. I ordered and got my food quickly. Luckily I usually eat in the car at a spot nearby because when I went to eat my food it was cold! I would have been so disappointed if I had driven home to eat it.

In-N-Out burger has great service, everyone is really friendly. A lot of people I know love the food. Personally I find it really greasy and if I eat a lot of it nothing but gut ache. Fries usually need to be drowned in ketchup because there a bit dry. Wish I could give more stars for the service alone but the food could be better.

It’s In-N-Out… of course it’s awesome. Pretty fantastic that this California staple opened up shop in Vintage Oaks. Definitely a place to grab a quick bite if in a rush.

Great burger place and amazingly friendly customer service every time I have been there. Animal fries are the bomb!

Love it! The kids that work there are great and everyone works hard. If they make a mistake which is rare no questions ask they fix it. We love the prices and the food. Not a fan of fries but that’s cling from a McDonald’s kids.

This location has the happiest staff of anywhere I’ve every experienced. I’m always curious as to what makes all these people so happy. Even when they have to stand outside rain or shine and take everyone’s orders. They get an A+ for drive through take out service in Novato, which includes all those we come in contact with. On the downside, I hate the potatoes they use for fries. They have a bad taste and wish they would change to a sweeter potato, or offer more than one option for potatoes. So they get a D– on the potatoes. But they get another A for putting everything we want on a burger at no charge. It would be good if they would offer drivers some protection for our clothes. Their burgers drip sauce all over out clothes while we are driving or sitting in our cars eating. Their wraps and bags leak and they don’t offer us anything to prevent it. So a D rating on this.

A perfectly cooked FRESH delicious burger. So nice and convenient that they have a drive through. The line can take a few minutes to get thru-they make each burger fresh to order. You can specify how you want your burger cooked as well. Animal style is a favorite of my family. It’s when they cook the bun with mustard and grill the onions as well. You can also ask for the fries to be cooked a little longer if you wish. No other fast food establishments compare to the freshness and taste. Well perhaps Dicks Drive In. Seattle — but that’s in a whole league in it own. This is a no BRAINER!

I finally had an In-N-Out burger after hearing about it for what seems like forever. Maybe it was the high expectations, but I came away thinking it was just, well, fine. I love that they are open really late The drive thru people were really friendly The burger was hot, and really good. I didn’t get it animal style, just plain for my first dive in, and I enjoyed it a lot. But… The fries sucked… are they always a rather odd texture? Maybe I got a bad batch They got my order wrong, even though they repeated it back to me correctly It seemed to take quite a long time to get my order I think I will go back at some point, to try the animal way, and see if then I can understand why this chain has such a fan base!

On Sunday around noon, hubs and I were driving thru town on the freeway and spyed this In-N-Out for a quick bite to eat. So off we went to the drive thru. The drive thru line had 6 cars in front of us, but they had a cashier standing outside taking orders. The line went super quick. He took our order right away and we had our order under 9 minutes. They even got hubs cheeseburger right, he has a very particular way he like his In-N-Out burger.

This IN-N-OUT just doesn’t get how to function as In-N-Out. They get my order wrong every time. How hard is it to put raw and whole-grilled onions on a burger? Every time I go here there is a cashier who seems they started working that day – they have no clue how get it right then ask the manager how to put raw onions on the burger. I do it because the flavor and texture of grilled and raw onions contrast and complement each other to the point of kicking the best burger in the galaxy to god-burger status. Then I get the order and there is no In-N-Out magic to it – its almost like most of the employees haven’t been to another In-N-Out and don’t know the *swing* that is my favorite establishment this world has to offer. Also, the ice tea is always out, and the dining room is always dirty because they missed the memo of the always-on porter signature – «cleanliness you can see.» #In-N-Out Corporate, you need of dramatic overhaul of this location. This place needs some veterans to show these folks the ropes on how to function as the best chain fast-food institution that exists. I believe in you, I always have. Well first off, I love In-N-Out food, so that part of it is a 5 :) And if you don’t know their«Secret Menu», then I recommend you Google it! And I also love their prices. This In-N-Out isn’t any slower than others I’ve been to, and it is actually a little faster than some. People have always been friendly, and I like that it’s located close to shopping. Easy to grab food on the way home after running errands. Stuff is fresh, like at all In-N-Outs. You can see them putting potatoes through the press, making them into fries. Also good size, no tiny burgers here!(Or grilled cheese, animal style in my case!) I did take off a star though, because of the positioning of the line. If the line gets long, it starts going out of the parking lot, and stops up a lane. Granted it’s a lane in a shopping center, so not a main road, but still pretty annoying. Also a potential for a minor fender-bender, in my opinion! Since people are coming from both directions trying to get in line. Their parking lot is not big at all, but they are RIGHT next to the parking for shopping, so there are always tons of parking spots nearby. This is a good addition to Novato!

I’m definitely an in-n-out fan, and I think this is a great addition to Vintage Oaks, especially when I think back to the food options here when I was in elementary school(even though I pretty routinely begged my Mom to take me to the«good Taco Bell», despite being significantly closer to the one on 7th). They’re always nice about special requests, and the bathrooms are clean. There’s a handful of tables outside, and they’ll call your number over the loudspeaker, so don’t hesitate to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine! Strongly recommend getting your fries well done, since by default they’re not twice cooked and can be a bit on the soft side. They’ll also hold up better if you get them animal style. I find the burger delicious when cooked animal style(grilled in mustard), even though I don’t get the sauce, as I’m mayo averse. Order it how you like it, they’ll make it quickly, and eat it while soaking up the sun. Can’t go wrong!

In and out Burger wasn’t that busy so it was easy to slip in an out within minutes with eats. u know the standard menu. only getting the burger. eats: double double(3.60)medium rare, –some juice, some meat taste, great comfort food! –excellent value, fresh veggies too. –usually eat it as is, no condiments added. tale outs: –don’t go for the fries/shakes anymores, too much calories. –always friendly service at in and out… –food within minutes…

I’m an unabashed In-N-Out fan, so it pains me to have to rate this In-N-Out three stars, but to be honest, I feel I’d be doing a disservice to all of you if I didn’t. The service here continues to be snail slow compared to other In-N-Outs, even during the in-between hours. The dining area has improved in its cleanliness, but again continues to lag behind other In-N-Out locations. The food itself is generally inconsistent as well; sometimes my protein-style burger is well-made, but most of the time I’m wasting time trying to untangle the lettuce wrap from the paper wrap. Ugh.

Typical In-N-Out I’m not a huge meat/beef eater so I don’t really do fast food or burgers. That being said, coming back from a reggae spin in the city(SF) at midnight on a thursday I’m bound to be super hungry. We got here 5mins before 1am(closing time) glad to see there were other people in the drive thru and some just pulling up to go inside.(THIS is why I am giving 4 stars — they stay open much later than 1pm because people keep pulling up or going in and they keep serving. I dig that.) I got the grilled cheese on a bun and fries. I love the plastic american kraft singles type cheese on a grilled cheese so it was great to me… I’m down. I am, however, not a fan of In-N-Outs fries… they were hot, fresh and all that, I just don’t find them to be all they are cracked up to be. Blah. Something about the texture I just can’t appreciate.

I still have yet to taste the beef at In N Out. In the past I’ve always ordered the burger Animal style but that overpowers the beef. I tried a normal burger but made the mistake of going for the raw onion. The onion slice was thicker than both the patties put together. Oops. Needless to say the onion overpowered the meat. The ingredients do taste fresher than your average fast food fare. The shakes are OK. The fries to me are either undercooked or overcooked. It’d be nice if they could teach them to double cook the fries.

If it’s good enough for Anthony Bourdain, it’s good enough for me. And Anthony and I are pretty simpatico when it comes to our tastes in burgers because we’re both obsessed with In-N-Out. So when I spied this particular In-N-Out with a less-than-stellar rating, I had to find out for myself(recon: yeah, that’s what we’ll call my craving). After enduring the horrible task(ahem) of eating an animal-style cheeseburger, I can report this outpost deliciously lived up to my lofty expectations and then some. I waited for 5 minutes as my burger was meticulously crafted to spec: a juicy patty topped with perfectly-melted cheese(this is important), crisp and vividly-hued greens, and just the right amount of oozing animal sauce. The ratio of meat to bun could be called an engineering and architectural feat… it really is a beautiful thing. Service was great, so no issues there. A deduction of one star for the messy ladies’ restroom situation, but otherwise, the fate of your favorite fast food burger looks quite promising at this particular location. Happy indulging!

One of the best fast food burger chains around and this one is no different. However, they have mess up my order on more then one occasion. Twice I wanted sauce on the side and it was on the burger. Another time I didn’t get cheese. And why do they need to repeat every item I do want when I say I want a double double without sauce. Even when I say I want everything but sauce, they still repeat every other item and maybe forgot to mention I want cheese too or I forgot to mention it — ridiculous. No way I’m going back to the drive thru just to correct the mistake but the burgers are damn good.
