I liked the teriyaki chicken sandwich and the chicken bibimbap. Food is good. I wish they could fix the place and make it a decent dine-in place.

Came here once while having my car radio repaired next door, and it was so good I came back the next day with my blushing bride. Good Korean fare is hard to find, so we were both pleased with our lunch choices here. Meats were very fresh and spicy, veggies crisp and seasoned to perfection. My only desire would be if they were open for dinner, so we could enjoy on those days we’re not working from home in Novato. What amazes me is how few of our friends from the other side of the 101(i.e. outside of BMK) even get over this way at all! I’ve been exploring the lunch spots and so far I’ve found a few winners. Try this for something different — despite the name it’s not a deli at all but a great Korean spot.

I wish I could get the Bulgogi sandwich everyday — but they’re only open for lunch, and only during the week, which means I can only get it when I’m working from home in Novato(and not in the city, as the norm). I wish they’d open up for lunch on Saturdays, too. The inside is divey, and for me, it’s better to get it takeout. But hopefully they can work on sprucing up their dining room/counter when the word gets out how great their lunches are!

They are only open for lunch but now I work nearby and I’m in heaven. I’ve gotten the spicy pork three times and it’s always excellent. A little pricey but there is literally nothing nearby in the Koran BBQ realm. Really glad they are there. Take out is fast and easy. Love it.

I’ve had take outs here a couple times. The service was slow even though there was only 1 other customer there. The price is good. The food is mediocre, but it’s the only option for Korean food in the area. There’s a minimum charge for credit card. I was also unhappy to get charged for a tiny side order of kimchi. They seriously need to clean up this place. It looks like someone’s basement with a lot of random stuff laying around.

Wow, what an awesome find today. Had a meeting on Digital Drive in Novato and this wonderful place was down the block. Decided to order the spicy pork and the chicken salad. Both were exceptional. Lunch for 2 was less than 20 bucks. If you are looking for a healthy quick lunch. Food is Korean and it appears that 25%+ of their clientele are Korean — hence always a good sign. I will be back for sure.

Really good food but don’t go at peak lunch time or you will wait for 30 minutes for your food. They only have one lady who works the lunch hour which is crazy cuz they are always so busy but must not have the staff. They ran out of rice today and couldn’t even tell me what the wait time would be. Weird. Super yummy food if you wait or come when it’s dead.

Service is fast, food is made to order and they make a mean sandwich. Really recommend the Chicken Teriyaki!

I love how there is a place I can satisfy my Korean fix near work. I’ve had almost all of their special plates and their portions are plenty. Never tried their sandwiches aside from their bulgolgi sandwich, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Today I had the Dolsot bibimbap. Once again, portions plenty but I do wish they had spicier chili paste available to go the meal. My only actual pet peeves about this place is one, how this place is decorated. Nothing matches and it may not bother others, but I don’t enjoy the sheets they lay on the tables. Secondly, try to avoid drinking water from the pitchers they have out. The water tastes like stagnant sink water and you’re better off getting something bottled. Overall, I do enjoy their food aside from small details. Aesthetically, this place could clean up a bit.

I love this spot! The noodles and rice dishes are so good! Two very sweet Korean women were working and it reminded me of my family’s restaurant(except we had a Chinese food place). ordering to go is easy. when i have time, i would love to sit down for a Dolsot Bibimbap.

This review is just for the Korean food part of their menu. Went here for lunch today. We ordered the Spicy Pork, and the Dolsot Bibimbap. I’ve lived in S. Korea for two years and I can safely say that the Korean food served here is authentic. The spicy pork bulgogi tasted just like the kind I would get at a Doshirak/lunch box kind of place in S.Korea. It came with a good portion of rice and a little side salad. The bibimbap was, well, it’s bibimbap. It hit all the checkmarks that bibimbap should have. Rice, good ratio of veggies, egg on top, and served sizzling hot in a stone bowl. Considering that this place is the ONLY restaurant that I know of that serves Korean food in Novato(albeit a limited selection), I would highly recommend it if you are craving Korean cuisine. I would love it if they added some soups like Kimchi Jiggae or Dwang Jang Jiggae to the menu, and if they added the option to have kimchi as a side.

The only Korian food in ALL of Marin. If they had a bigger menu and would be open for Dinner Pickup /Delivery they would get my business for sure.

Even though they raised the price, I cannot help but find myself eating here once a week. My co-workers and I cannot resist Deli 74’s Spicy Pork and Kalbi dish. I must say that the food draws you in especially when its the closest thing you can get next to real Korean BBQ. We accept!

Stop by this eatery which serves standard deli sands along with some popular korean dishes. I was greeted by the nice lady at the counter and ordered the beef bibimbap. Wow! …not bad at all for a deli shop. There were 6 or 7 others inside and out eating around noon that day. Have also tried the Waldorf sandwich here previously which has more turkey inside then the long lines of bodies that frequent the deli across the street and yes they make good sourdough deli sands but they don’t do Waldorf and this place do and it’s very good like how Mom’s make it. Not that I tell Mom that :) Anyways, the dish was hot and ready within 7 minutes, fast and very good. You don’t need to spice it up with the gochujang but I recommend it for the kick to top off the meal.

Stopped by here after walking the complex doing sales. Yes, sales. So, it’s the only spot out here to eat. Reached it about 2:45pm, guess its closing time. The lady was not very nice, ok almost closing time. Still a customer is a customer.

Wrong place to get a tuna sandwich for lunch, that’s for sure. The lunch will be a «dripping» tuna sandwich with average ingredients and feel… Yes, I’ve had better. I don’t want to sound mean – they may have great Bimbap. But, why sell something that you are not good at, or can’t do well? Have you ever heard a pizza place that also sells sushi?

I was so excited to stumble across Korean food in Novato. I’m a big fan of Have a Rice Day and their bibimbap in San Francisco so I was very hopeful that I had found the equivalent closer to home in Marin County. The deli has the feel of a neighborhood place complete with menues on chalk boards and a fan to move the air around a little. The staff is friendly and makes the most out of their tight space, even doing dishes in the sink behind the cash register between customers. The food unfortunately is just not anywhere close to the quality I’ve had in San Francisco or even from local food trucks specializing in Korean food, such as Koja Kitchen. I visited on two occasions for lunch in an effort to find Deli 74’s speciality and I left disappointed each time. The rice, sauces and vegetables are passable. It’s the meats that seem like they’re tired and old. In a chicken dish, some pieces of the chicken were on the gray side and had an unpleasant odor and aftertaste. In the restaurant’s signature bibimbap dish, the beef also seemed like it just wasn’t good quality or very fresh. Some of the pieces of beef seemed on their way to jerky. Also, compared to the treasure of items one finds in the bibimbap at restaurants like Have a Rice Day in San Francisco, Deli 74’s dish of carrots, spinach, onions and beef on top of rice seemed pretty basic and flavorless. It needed lots of chili sauce to get any reaction from the taste buds. I wish these guys the best and really hope they are able to raise their quality. I think it would be great to have a good Korean restaurant in Marin County. Today, however, they aren’t there and I’m sorry I can’t recommend going to this restaurant.

Favorite and most cheap sandwhich shop i can walk to. I hate mikes sourdough and i hate uland and eric L. Thus i come to deli 74 and order the club sandwhich which comes with free chips. Thus confirming my amazing review of 4 stars.

Being that this place is close to my work, I value there service and variety that is non-common in the area. I think this might be the only Korean place near Novato, but I haven’t had the chance to explore much places around. All work and small time to enjoy the food around. This place serves a collection of Korean dishes for example the famous Bibim Bap beef or chicken or the Bulgoki beef all comes with rice and salad. The staff is very friendly and the service is quick. Bonus is the outdoors tables and chairs. This place is great if you want something different than the American cuisine around the area.

I’ve started frequenting Deli 74 at lunch for their Korean dishes which can be had for a very reasonable price. I’ve tried their Bibimbap, and spicy chicken with broccoli over rice. Both were delicious and only set me back about 7 dollars. Even better still is that Deli 74 is walking distance from where I work. Good stuff, I’ll be back to try their clay pot Bibimbap.
