Literally as good as it got. Kelly, Sarah, Casey, and Amanda were some of the finest individuals i’ve ever encountered. Led by Melissa, the hottie manager, they made every meal here entertaining and perfect.

I do not understand how chicken wings could possibly take so long to be served. The boyf and I went came here around half time for the hornets game, ordered some drinks and buffalo wings. He got a bloody Mary and I got a concoction of what the waitress said was stoli blueberry and sprite, which she claimed would be delicious. Well, it was certainly far from. It was watered down, didn’t taste of blueberries, or even sprite. It tasted like flat soda water with a splash of vodka in it. Gross. So we waited… And waited… Til there was about 7 minutes left In the last quarter of the game… Our food still hasn’t arrived, the game was practically over so we just got it to go. The place wasn’t terribly packed so I don’t really understand how it took so long to put out something as quick as chicken wings. So, home we went.

I would love to be able to write something nice about this place but that would require actually receiving some type of service. I decided to pop in for lunch. There were six people in the place… total. I was directed to the bar to place a togo order. The bartender gave me a menu and walked away. For 20 minutes, the staff ignored me. One occasionally looked up from her Iphone while another seemed to put all her effort into ensuring that her path never crossed my waving hand. Well… they had a menu.

Went to watch the saints play for Monday might football. I love going Mondays for the unlimited wings. My only negative comment comes from how they handled an accident. One of the girls dropped wings on my jacket. She apologized and tried to get it out with soda water. It didn’t work. Luckily I was able to wash it as soon as I got home and it is now stain free. What gets me is that they didn’t try anything to compensate me for it. Not a free drink or anything. I would have expected something to make up for the hours I sat there wondering if I would be able to get the stain out of my not-so-inexpensive coat. Typically though, I’ve always had a good experience at Wow on Magazine.

The staff at this WOW Wings is always great! I enjoy watching the Saints game there. The $ 10 Wow Tower makes the wings that much better! The girls are also HOT!

I had the ribs and they were fantastic. Every time I go I’m pleasantly surprised by the wings as well — nice and crispy. Be careful of the Buffalo 13 sauce though — it’s a bit too much. Try the Texas BBQ sauce on the wings. Delicious. Great service, great place to watch the game. Try the WOW beer bong. Great deal.

Took my family there recently on our week long New Orleans vacation. Loved the atmosphere. The food was really good. And you really can not beat the prices. I got a $ 25.00 gift certificate for $ 10 from and I was a little worried about using it cause it was my first time. But nothing at all to worry about. Everything went super smooth and was well worth it. We will definitely be back!!!

Not bad, not great. Compared to other chain chicken wing restaurants(BW3s, for example), the food isn’t that good. Next time I REALLY want wings, I’ll just drive out to Slidell and eat at B-Dubs.

The best WoW I’ve been to(better than the one in the Rat at Tulane and better than the one at GWU). The wings were over cooked but I think they tasted better that way since they use some weird oil and flour. Good beer deals but DON’T let the signs for the WOWTOWER fool you! We almost got a tower and it was going to be $ 50! Not $ 10 or $ 15 like it said on the sign(only during Saints and LSU games). Good thing I asked the waitress. It’s only that low price on special days or game days. $ 1 Bud for NFL Draft. $ 2 Domestic Longnecks(Monday — Friday 11AM — 6PM), $ 3 Margaritas(all day, everyday), $ 3 Bloody Marys(Sunday) $ 2.99 Captain & Cola All Day & All Night and All You Can Eat Wings $ 9.994PM — Close(Tuesday) $ 5 Large Daquiris All Day & All Night(Wednesday) ½ Price Wine Night All Day & All Night Selected Bottles(Thursday) $ 10.00 Wow Tow All Day & All Night, 100 ounces of draft beer(Friday)(I think this is only on select brands) Saturday Beer Bucket Special All Day & All Night $ 10 for 5 Longnecks. Domestic Only. There were kids and parents from the ballet school across the street. And women’s bowling playing. That was funny.

I used to go to the Uptown WOW Wingery every now and then while I worked nearby. The service was generally ok but the food just wasn’t that good. It was the type of place that I just wouldn’t have gone to if it weren’t within walking distance. I’m divided between two and three stars on this place. It’s just not memorable.

I’ve definitely had better wings other places, and the service here is always pretty crappy. Nice, but kinda out to lunch, like they can’t remember their own names. Not a great quality in a waitress. It’s truly a sports bar, so don’t bring your husband here and expect to have a conversation unless it is about football. I have enjoyed the sandwiches and fries I’ve eaten here, though they are not any better than other places around town. This is the kind of place you end up when you can’t think of somewhere else to go, or you just need kinda cheap food that is pretty much ok.

After reading all the terrible reviews, I almost didn’t go here for dinner tonight. I’m glad to say that the food was just fine, the servers were nice and the drinks yummy. We had wings, chicken quesadillas, spinach artichoke dip and a hamburger, margaritas and mixed drinks. Give them a shot!

Ever since this place got new management recently, its been TERRIBLE. It’s trying to be like Hooters, with the young waitresses in skimpy shorts. The music is way too loud, you barely have a conversation with your company. I do have to say that the place looks better since the new management, but that’s about it. It took an hour and half to get our checks from the time we originally ordered, only 2 of the 4 dishes ordered came out, the other 2 came about 20 minutes later. Considering it wasn’t busy, there was only one other table, there’s no reason it should have taken that long, or not been all ready at the same time. The Hooter girls were ditzy, and when we asked for more sauce on the buffalo shrimp, it seemed as if we were asking for something complex and complicated. The girl we asked for some reason wasn’t capable and gave us a deer in the headlights look and told another girl walking by. I didn’t know getting sauce was such a big deal. I refuse to go back.

Particularly horrible. This WOW location is under new management. Given the Uptown location, they decided to take a more Hoosters-esque approach. Same food, but skimpier outfits for the waitstaff. The music inside was so loud that I was getting a headache. Conversation was impossible even amongst ourselves at our booth. We asked our waitress to see if she could turn the music down, but when she asked the manager, nothing happened! Multiple requests made no difference. I wasn’t asking for some easy listening music at a barely audible volume. I even understand the aesthetic they are going for [bar atmosphere], but the music was just too damn loud! I hope they provide hearing protection for the waitstaff because hearing loss is a very real possibility. Oh. I almost forgot. The food was crap too.

As a former resident of Uptown New Orleans, I took my fiancé to WOW during our Mardi Gras trip to introduce him to my favorite former haunts. To be specific, we were looking for some of their awesome fried pickles. What we got was the worst service I’ve ever experienced in NOLA, honestly. The evening started out well enough. The bar was basically empty and we ordered drinks from our server, Casey. She was quick with the first drinks. A little slow with the second round, but we didn’t really mind. Unfortunately, just about the time our appetizer arrived, her friends(most of whom appeared to be off-duty servers) arrived. They sat at the bar and we lost our server for the next half hour. When we finally flagged her down to ask for our check, she proceeded to do shots with her friends before bringing the check. We were ready to pay immediately, but Casey went back and forth to the cooler, hung out with her friends, and did a few more shots. I had to flag down another waitress and ask if someone could please accept our payment, at which point I could audibly hear our server complaining about us to her friends at the bar. The time span between when we finished our two rounds of beer and one appetizer and when we successfully paid our check was over an hour. Needless to say, we did not tip her. For the very first time in my life I did not tip my server. I was embarrassed to have brought my fiancé to this establishment, and I continue to be mortified at the idea that visitors to New Orleans are being subjected to this kind of experience. I lived in the neighborhood(Uptown, in the Magazine — Henry Clay area) pre-Katrina, and visited this bar frequently. After my most recent trip, I won’t be back. Oh, and the young woman who appeared to be the manager was in the bar during this entire visit… she was sitting with the group of «friends», either oblivious to the way her server was treating customers or just not caring. The one star I gave WOW was for the fried pickles — those, at least, are excellent.

This is probably one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in this city. Wings were luke warm and tasted very generic. This location has recently gone through some sort of metamorphosis turning into some sort of Hooters wannabe. Even the waitresses now have to wear short shorts and similar outfits. That doesn’t seem appropriate for Magazine St. And what really pissed me off, they blasted the worst shit I’ve ever heard, when we asked them to turn it down they wouldn’t! Music was so loud we couldn’t talk to each other.

I thought I already wrote a review for this place. They did change owners recently, so maybe they cleared the old reviews. The place has definitely improved since the change. They spruced up the place. The food seems fresher and the service is better. They added better and more TVs and one of those cool bubbling/color changing things behind the bar. The other big improvement is the specials during football games. During LSU and Saints games, you can get a 100 ounce beer tower for $ 9.99. What a deal. They do restrict the types of beer, but you can get PBR. What is that, $ 1.20 per 12 ounce beer!!! For Monday Night Football, they have all you eat wings for $ 9.99. For a 3.5 hour football game, what a deal. it’s a good way to try all the sauces also. See paragraph above… Finally, during big games, they take one of those super water squirt guns and fill it with tequila. They’ll shoot it in you mouth after touchdowns. I didn’t partake, but it’s a laugh to watch others get squirted in the face when the waitresses miss the mouth! Last thing, since it is a restaurant(no smoking), it is a good place to take the family(kids) to watch a football. It is loud and crowded during the game, but a lot of fun.

This place was recently renovated and taken under new ownership… they have 100oz. Beer towers for $ 9.99 during LSU and Saints so I’m in… this is exactly what uptown needed!
