I prefer this establishment because this one is a lot more organized and their Shelves are always stocked. Their check out lines are not as long asyhe Winn Dixie close to Louisa St right before you get to the Danzinger Bridge. This place just looks like hou will find what you need. Also please be mindful that Wi nn Dixie is kind of pricey so definitely grab you a wonn Dixie card and get your sales or save on gas at participating Shell Gas Stations(not every Shell does the winn Dixie rewards so just asks).

I’ve shopped here approximately three different times and it’s usually on a Saturday morning/afternoon when business is pretty slow so keep context in mind. The shelves for each section were adequately stocked with items I needed: various energy drinks, infant food/gear, and exercise supplements. Housekeeping was neat and staff willing to help. However, the staffs’ knowledge of such a small marketplace needs improvement. For example, I made an attempt to trade out water bottles for a home dispenser and not one employee knew the program OR where to find the exchange cage. One day walking around I found it in front of The Pharmacy with a detailed explanation. Really guys?! 0___o

Worst grocery store ever. The lady behind the bakery didn’t know how to write on a cake and MADE me do it! Ridiculous. The manager wouldn’t even offer any compassion when I said I wasn’t happy with the service or the cake. I went to Rouses, they are better anyway.

Decent grocery store! I’m not sure why the hate-on for it. They had everything we needed, and the store was clean and well-kept.

I am so aggravated! I am not speaking for the entire Eastern New Orleans but there are several individuals as concerned about the state of this business as I am. Nothing ever gets done because people are not as vocal as they should be. You deserve better! This is a community. My concerns are as follows: 1. Produce — Where are the fresh veggies i. e avocados! Onions OMG onions where art thou? 2. Merchandising — Items, even on the endcaps are not properly merchandised. 3. Customer Service — What customer service? Two registers open… even on the first of the month. 4. Reward Cards — That’s a spitfire way to lose customers. These are so old school. Just call it a sale. I shouldn’t need to tote a card nor give my number to you and anyone listening. 5. One of the front doors is locked at sun down. 6. Store hours — Does any other WDs close at 9? Unbelievable. Can’t blame everything on Katrina. Possible Solutions: 1. Fire all the staff. Keep only a handful who actually work. Bring in new Asst. mgrs. 2. Close your location and let Rouse’s buid. I prefer paying more for a better store. 3. Take a closer look at your store and make some changes. I always see the Manager bustling around, I feel sorry for him. People deserve a cleaner, safer store. Maybe the corporate office will make some changes. Hopefully someone will get a google alert or Unilocalie poke and get down to business.

Definitely a meh. They have what you need, unless what you need is knowledgeable and pleasant customer service. My friends describe this as the most ghetto Winn Dixie ever. Unfortunately, it’s the only one in the entire New Orleans area. They might not always be fully stocked in produce but by George, a full one-fourth of the store is dedicated to alcoholic beverages(wine, beer, liquor, etc) and will always be fully stocked. Not that I’m complaining about it. There are usually long lines because, again, this is the ONLYSUPERMARKET in the East. I come here if I need an ingredient or don’t feel like driving far only because I have to but lemme tell you, if they build a Rouses sometime in the far future, my allegiance will shift quickly.
