Great, down-the-street, and personable neighborhood cleaners in the style of yesteryear. Receipts are still written on 3-ply paper. There is a rack of pressed clothes for sale, close to a sign stating a strict 60-day pick-up policy.

Don’t let the rundown appearance deter you from taking your laundry here. I lived in Algiers Point for three years, and they did a fantastic job on my clothes — business and casual alike. The prices are a steal. And the family that runs it is very nice. On one occasion, I brought in a sweater with a large, flower-shaped button inlaid with rhinestones. I pointed out to the owner that a few of the stones were missing to let him know I wouldn’t blame the cleaner for the damage when i got it back. The owner found a nearly identical button and replaced it for no charge. I no longer live in NOLA and have never managed to find a dry cleaner this good, and with such good prices, any place else I’ve lived.
