Store dirty, 4 – 5 lanes open! Lines 20 plus deep, no management help at registers, no baskets in waiting areas! Only 6:30pm! Lines so long they blend into clothes areas! Customers must go thru clothes to get around! And before I left, lines went to 3! WTH! Products all over store, in different locations no belonging to assigned spots! Should be an embarrassing for Walmart Supercenter!

Terrible staffing. Checkout lines take forever. Why can’t management plan better.

Capital G. H. E. T. T. O. when you have police 3 deep or more outside. its like umm mam/sir. what’s in there?! You do have associates that try and that are friendly in here but then you have those others. that wear the stereotype like Prada wears its name. So the energy is hard to balance… Alot of frowned faces… alot of blank faces… few smiling faces. but I came here and got what I needed. and the assistance was decent. can’t complain. At least they have things in stock. but alas .tis the season. Shooooooooooooortage on cashier’s.Tis’ the season. do people not want jobs?.. you know what nevermind I forgot where I was. *They sell Saints Memorabilia * They have a liquor store and they sell extension hair. smh… I guess

Hmm, Walmart. Get in, get out, get home. Pretty much a simple transaction. This Wal-Mart is perhaps one of the most singularly uncomfortable shopping experiences I have ever had in my life. Staff who seem inconvenienced by even the slightest question, and that is when they are around to actually answer your question. I had 2 different team members completely ignore my attempts to ask them a question and walk right by me. And the one who did answer my question did so and was completely wrong, to the point of sending me to the complete opposite end of the store to find my item. So, if you want to do anything other than people watch and see some fairly bizarre people, avoid this Walmart like a plague ridden, syphilitic, zombie hooker. Or, go in at your peril.

This is the worse Walmart to visit. It is always dirty. Very unfriendly employees. Always not enough lanes open for checkout and can’t get help finding things

Let’s be real, Walmart is hell on Earth. But it’s even worse when it’s the only place listed that’s open late, until you drive all the way there and the lady talk through the closed door saying they actually close at 11pm and when I tell her that their website, a google search, and Unilocal all say they close at 12am, she relies with, «yeah. People say that all the time.» Umm… yeah, you should probably f’ing alert someone to this problem. She tells me of the 23 hour location, after I tell her I just need to exchange something. I drive all the way there and walk inside to some not so attentive people as they lazily look over their shoulder with, «customer service is closed.» Seriously?! FU walmart. I hated you before, but tonight I want to set the duralog aisle ablaze! Ahhhh!!!

I hate this place. You can never get out of here. Seems to only have 3 lines open out of 316! Shelves are hardly ever stocked. You can’t find any help! If you luck up to find someone, they’re usually very unprofessional. Almost like they don’t want to be there. Horrible shopping experience! I’d suggest you stay away.

Avoid this Wally Wold if you can. No Clean, never enough cashiers, long lines. Trust me Go anywhere else, not worth the saving a few cents if you wait in line 30 minutes.

This has got to be the filthiest Walmart I’ve ever been to. They only have 5 out of about 40 checkouts open. There is a bad smell of feces throughout the place.

Average Walmart, buuuuuut what totally sets this WalMart apart from others is the Saints & Liquor store in the front of the store just down from the customer service area. I mean it’s a true #stickandmove!!! Grab your booze & a Saints tshirt & #partyondude!!! I find the prices to be fair for the quality of Saints Paraphernalia. We were able to score an adolescent hoodie for under $ 20. We were pleased & this store has gained a fan for the ample selection of Saints tshirts, hoodies, back packs, glasses mugs, koozies, PJs etc. Additionally, worth noting is the LSU section that sometimes is intermingled with the Saints Paraphernalia. I also saw some Mardi Gras item inside as well. Seems like a hodge-podge of local souvenir/team sports items.

They never seem to schedule enough check outs to be opened at prime times, like afternoons and during holidays. If you HAVE to come here, try and hit it early in the morning, late nights is the worst

It is Walmart! National chain that is now an international chain that siphons money from everyone across the globe! The reason this particular location gets a 4th star is because the gas station attached to this Walmart always have cheaper pricing than the surrounding area.

The worst pharmacy on planet earth. The most unprofessional, rude, slow, dangerous pharmacist and pharmacy technicians. Take your health and business elsewhere. My prescriptions were not filled correctly, simple prescriptions were lost or unaccounted for, and there was absolutely no accountability on their end. Run, run, away.

This review is for the auto and tire repair department. I went to this Walmart location after having a bad experience buying 2 tires at the Walmart on Manhattan Street(thats a whole other story.) Anyways. I had to get 2 more new tires for the back and because I am driving cross country, I thought it would be best to buy them from the same store and a place that I could a nation-wide warranty. I decided to go to this Walmart hoping for a better experience. I am happy I did. Even though I was hesitate to buy more tires at Walmart, Joe Joe was very professional, knowledgable, and personable. His staff seemed to be on the same page unlike at the Manhattan location(not to bash that Walmart — they were very nice at both locations but I would DEFINITELY take my car to this location for their professionalism) Joe Joe and his staff made up for my bad experience at the other Walmart and I would take my car to get tires there again in the future! :)

I had high hopes for this Walmart. As I walked into the store, I noticed that this store is much bigger and neater than my usual Walmart(on Tchoupitoulas). It all went down hill from there. First, I needed assistance in the bike section. There was no help to be found, so I had to have someone paged– twice! After twenty minutes of standing around, I finally decided to help myself and managed to retrieve the bike from the rack well above my head. Then I ventured over to the electronics section, where I needed to get a Ninendo Wii. I watched in dismay as someone ahead of me purchased the last two game systems(please note that I would gotten the Wii if I hadn’t waited an eternity for help that never came in the bike section). Then, upon returning from the back of the store to check for additional stock, the sales associate informed me that there were systems in stock, but that they were not permitted to sell those until the end of the week. Seriously, what’s up with that? And finally, there were issues at check-out involving tax exempt forms and business checks that I just won’t get into. Oh and I forgot something very important: of the thirty registers in the store, only one was open! The whole experience was a debacle. I’m still giving the store three stars because if you don’t actually need any assistance, this is a great Walmart location. If you anticipate needing some customer service, you may want to go elsewhere.

For some reason I end up at this Wal Mart when they first open around 6:30. As I enter the employees are still stocking shelves and arriving for work. I head to the water section and pick up a case for work and head to the only check out that is open. This whole process only takes about 10 minutes. This seems to be the best time to shop at Wal Mart, otherwise it it jam packed with people. One note; every time I go to this Wal Mart, the employees stare at me while I go to get my water. It is if I am an Alien sent to observe the Wal Mart workers. My guess is I am the only person crazy enough to go water shopping at 6:30 in the morning.
