The Georgian is a distinct, ivy-covered residential building on St. Charles Avenue. It’s seated right along the parade route, and conveniently across from a trolley pick up stop. Located in New Orleans’ beloved Garden District, the Georgian is surrounded by noteworthy restaurants, various tourist attractions, and stunning homes. Inside, you’ll find amenities times amenities times amenities! There are laundry rooms on each floor(a large laundry area on the first floor, and a smaller room with a washer and dryer on all the rest). The work out area has multiple elliptical machines and wall to wall mirrors so you can check out your fitness. There’s a pool and jacuzzi available to tenants. They also have gated parking available(for a fee), but I’d recommend street parking on Carondelet or elsewhere, since usually(anytime other than Mardi Gras), street parking in this area is very easy to find. The apartments are alright, but if you’re lucky, you’ll get one with renovated kitchen and wood flooring instead of carpet. Cable TV is free, but if you want any premium channels you’ll need to go out of pocket with a more widely known company. The tenants pretty much keep to themselves, although the few I’ve run into have been friendly enough. The staff are always nice and cordial to your face, but if you ever pay your rent late(even if it never happened before and was just a mistake), you might get a threatening letter on your door. Overall, the Georgian is a nice place to live, in a prime New Orleans location, with great amenities!
