The servers were friendly and singing all the time. Although the fudge seemed a bit too sweet for us, we liked the ice cream. And what’s great is that they give you lots of ice cream. Two scoops seemed more than three actually, and it tasted great.

This place is bad in so many ways. 1. Employees are way too pushy. 2. Prices are inexcusable(we got a fudge). They might claim the fudge does not melt but just don’t believe them. I explained to the employee it is not reasonable for two people to get 2 pounds of fudge just because of their offer, let alone we were flying out the next day. She insisted that people get fudge as presents for back home and fly with it all the time. I am so glad we did not listen to her and bought just one piece(half pound). The next day(note it was not even a hot day) we got to the airport and they asked us to further investigate our bag, which lasted for quite some time. I guess I would also find it suspicious if someone was carrying around a bag with some totally melted brown unidentified object!!! Never mind — we would not eat it anyway, it still was way too much for two people. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because at least during the 1st hour the fudge was edible…

Tourist trap. The fudge tastes good and they give you samples. The employees were very pushy. They asked us 3 times to buy their buy 3 get 1 free combo. Our cashier visibly changed his attitude the last time we declined, we felt like we had done something wrong and got drawn into a conversation over why 2 people didn’t need 2lbs of fudge. When we looked at the bill he charged us over $ 20 for one half pound slice of fudge, when he had quoted us $ 10.99 for a half pound.

We had a great time there. They were very friendly. I guess it is all the great fudge they are making going to their heads, because they are lovely. The fudge is the best I have ever had. We bought 8 bars! One of almost every flavor. We

If you love sweets this is the perfect place for you. They have just about anything sweet you can think of, apples, marshmallows, pretzels and you can try samples of the fudge. I got a chocolate covered Apple, and it was amazing!!! I would definitely go back here if I visited!

Had a conflicted experience at The Fudgery. We went to this location twice during our trip to New Orleans. We went back because the first time we had a wonderful experience with the kindness of the workers and the quality of the ice cream. HOWEVER The second time we came back it was because I saw that they had smoothies and I was in the mood for something fruity. There sign says«made with 100% real fruit.» I even clarified before I ordered and the girl who took my order confirmed that they use all real fruit, no syrups, no yogurt, no milk, etc. It took them about 10 minutes to figure out how to make a smoothie, and in this time I am watching three employees sifting through bottles of flavored syrups. I asked if they would be putting any fresh fruit in it, hopeful that I was just misunderstanding what they were doing. I was spoken to by one employee in particular who told me that they«get the fresh fruit in puréed» and there is «no extra sugary syrup». My naïve self chose to believe the man, not thinking that he would be lying to my face. The final product was the most disgusting excuse for a $ 6 smoothie I could have ever imagined. It was apparent that they literally put flavored sugary syrups into a blender with ice. It was sickly sweet, artificial and disgusting and I am appalled that the employees would blatantly lie to a customer, both on their sign and with their own words. In summary: even though our first experience was fine, that ordeal with the smoothie order was enough to make us never go back to this place. I hope management sees this and informs the employees.

If you have a sweet tooth THIS is the place to go! The fudge is good, but way too sweet for me. I tasted a shake with praline fudge blended in with Blue Bell pecan praline ice cream and it should’ve been illegal! It was sinfully good but I could only drink a sip or two unless I wanted to end up in some sort of coma. Again, if you have a taste for something sweet while walking through the Riverwalk you may want to stop and sample or buy a big chunk of fudge.

This review is based on the River Walk location. Keep refrigerated… This fudge is super creamy and milky. Wow, be careful if you can’t handle rich desserts like such. They’re still entertaining in terms of them singing while doing a demo. Buy, Try or Pass? Buy and enjoy that creamy fudge while in the Big Easy.

African American girl with blue hair was absolutely rude and uneducated Got my mom and little brothers order wrong and acted like it was our fault And on top of that when she did give us our order it was literally half the cup, when I ordered mines before from another girl I got a cup filled with icecream I will NEVER come here again Horrible service I will definitely call the manager and let them know their worker is slipping Oh and may I add this is the NEW fudgery, the old one they had, had an amazing staff

Probably the best store inside the Riverwalk. The workers are very entertaining as they sing and joke around with the customers while making a fresh batch of fudge. Stop by for a free sample but seriously consider buying something if you stick around for the show. I felt really bad when everyone walked off after watching the show and eating the free samples.

The Fudgery is located in the Riverwalk, which means the prices are inflated. But man is the fudge delicious. The staff does a great job interacting with customers while making the fudge while everyone watches. They sing and have an interesting patter involving the customers, drawing in people walking by. But the real star is the fudge itself. It’s sold by the pound and each block is approximately ½ a pound. It comes in a number of flavors and we discovered that if you buy three pieces you get one free! We picked up dark chocolate with nuts, rocky road, peanut butter & chocolate, and«excellent chocolate». The peanut butter & chocolate fudge is amazing, like a premium Reese’s cup. The dark chocolate with nuts is amazing, as is the rocky road. Even the plain chocolate is really good fudge. If you’re in the Riverwalk anyway, be sure to stop and get some.

This place is as I remembered, the workers sing as they play around with the fudge and put on a show for you. They’re really friendly and nice. It’s kinda sad since the business is so slow, but they’re still making the fudge. Come by and try a sample if you want something other than pralines.
