I would be highly suspicious of anyone giving this establishment less than four stars. There is something magical about freshly made and hand dusted pork rinds. Perhaps it’s the fluffy crunch that follows each bite or the snap, crackle, and pop when you pick them up. This is just an appetizer mind you, their burgers are unparalleled in this part of town. I would put them up against Port of Call any day of the week. If your around Freret you must stop in for a beer and pork rinds, and get the ranch dusted… You will not be disappointed.

After a long flight this place hit the spot. The burgers are juicy and flavorful on a toasted buttery bun. Can it get any better? Cool, relaxed ambiance and a delicious spread of flavored mayonnaises(and yes I tried them all) mmmm mmmm GOOD!

There is this preconceived notion that the greatest food in New Orleans is seafood inspired. I beg to differ. My exploration today brought me to The Company Burger and by all means the food, the customer service and the ambience well exceeded my expectation. I highly recommend all tourists, native new Orleans and college students alike experience the wonderful food at the Company Burger. I had the turkey burger which was tender, well-cooked and delicious. The turkey burger had just the right seasoning and complimented the sweet potato fries. The customer service was excellent. I think in total the actual wait time was less than ten minutes from the moment order was place until it was delivered. This provided me just enough time to visit the washroom to wash my hands. The washroom was clean and organized. I like the American Flag hands untraditionally from the ceiling. The menu displays are hand written on brown paper and overall the restaurant was full of beautiful people. This is a great place to take someone on a date or to come alone and leave with a spouse. Military Friendly.

I have been to the Freret Street location a number of times and found that the food is always great. I find it odd that they’re closed on Tuesdays. Lesson learned. We love the onion rings and traditional cheeseburgers. I keep meaning to branch out a little bit and try one of the more exotic burgers but I always come back to the standard cheeseburger. Parking is always scarce, of course.

Anthony Bourdain told me go here, and Anthony Bourdain is always right. This burger eatery is located near Tulane University and other bars and restaurants on this street. The place is casual — you order and pay at the cashier and get your order when it’s ready. I ordered the Company Burger, which is a double cheeseburger with a side of sweet potato waffle fries and a cocktail. The place is pretty spacious and there was one large TV playing college football. The burger was one of the best I’ve had! It’s a simple, no frills double cheeseburger, but it’s simplicity was perfect. The patties were juicy and smothered with melted American cheese and buns were toasted, which created a grilled cheese effect. The sweet potato waffle fries were awesome, and weren’t too salty. I’m glad this place isn’t in Seattle because I’d be even fatter — awesome place in Nola.

I can only agree with John L.H., as it is so easy to do. A solid burger, while they do not have ranch, which is their main culinary transgression, please do not forget to visit the rather toothsome assortment of condiments near the end of the counter. The ambience was amazing and a great place for a fun night with that someone special or night out with friends. My darling had the lamb burger and I had their signature burger, both where reminiscent of a more expensive experience. The lamb burger is particularly recommend. If you are down Freret St., it would be a foolish mistake to ignore the patio of satisfied folks, and not stop in for something cold and a well crafted burger.

Easily the best burger anywhere in New Orleans! The burgers are just so juicy that they almost melt in your hands when you pick them up. Even more so when you bite into them. They have a Mayo Bar where they have a variety of different mayo’s for you to choose from. I typically stick with the basil mayo myself, but the chipotle is good as well. They have a House Sauce as well. I’m not really a shake person but I always see people having them so I’m guess they’re good. There is also a location in CBD off O’Keefe.

I love coming here! The menu is simple but the food is amazing! This time around, I got the company burger with bacon and a fried egg, sweet potato fries and my fiancé and I shared the cracklins appetizer with pimiento cheese. Everything was delicious. They have a mayo bar, and the basil mayo and house sauce are out of this world amazing! My only complaint is that the egg really didn’t add anything to the burger, you couldn’t taste it at all(the others at the table that got it said the same) and next time I will leave it off.

Company Burger, in my opinion so close and yet still not quite there. Burger, is simply average. Nothing to write home about and realy nothing to review. Help is, helpfil but otherwise, no news here. For now, TruBurger is a winner hands down.

Okay. This is tough. I’m always on the look out for a great burger which honestly I think this city as a whole falls short. There is no definitive burger joint here in New Orleans especially uptown that I find myself craving or wowed by. Alas the company burger. It’s a one temp burger which usually to me means cheap meat. The meat itself is juicy and fatty which works well. The bun is soft and the bacon and cheese work well. Okay so why aren’t we hitting a 4 or 5 star review? Price. It’s too expensive by $ 2 for what you get. It’s a good burger with a cool little mayo bar. But they would be better off charging $ 10 for a burger with a side and medium drink to make the value worth it.

I just got back from dinner at The Company Burger and it was so outstanding that it inspired me to catch up with my reviews since I arrived in NOLA. I went with a Company Burger with both egg and bacon. Great choice on my part. The pickles, the cheese, the thin burgers, the bun, the egg yolk dripping over it all and bacon — an absolute flavor explosion; A++. I had pork rinds as a side with the jalapeño sauce. They arrived hot and crackled when I dipped them into the sauce. Quite possibly, the best rinds I’ve ever had. The chocolate shake was perfect and an served as both an excellent beverage and dessert substitute. If you like some heat with your meal, don’t forget the pickled jalapenos at the mayo bar. I went back twice to refill my little cup and treated them like my salad. This is another place that makes me wish I was staying longer so I could go back a few more times. Super, very, most recommended spot!

When it hit the scene a few years ago it immediately became a quiet super star in the then just blossoming Freret street renaissance. While burgers are no longer THE rage and there are more burger places than you could imagine in town — this place has remained consistent excellent. The menu features great burgers, one kind of cheese(the only drawback in my opinion) and specials — there are also other staples such as glorious onion rings — thick old school milk shakes(or a frappé –lol– frappé — fun word to say) and a good vibe. The buns have a touch of sweetness which you either love or hate — I like — my husband — not so much. It’s a bit pricey — but I think it meets the value. I’ve not had it miss the mark yet… Friendly staff and for the amount of traffic I think the place is well maintained.

Great local burger restaurant that reminded me a bit of 5 Guys and some of the other better burger chains. This place has its own parking lot(as opposed to other area businesses which only offer street parking). You place your order with the cashier, pay, have a seat and wait for your name to be called. One thing that does make The Company Burger a bit unique is that they have a small area off to the side with several types of different mayo and toppings for your burger if you’d like to dress it with more toppings than it already comes prepared with. For me, it wasn’t really necessary. Both their fries and sweet potato fries are very good, and the burger was pretty damn good as well. In fact, as I type this review days after eating there, I’m salivating. Two of us came here, we both had a burger, I had a soft drink, my friend had a small beer(looked like maybe a 2 or 3 Oz pour), and we got an order of fries and an order of sweet potato fries to share. Total came to $ 36.22.

Three stars may be a bit harsh, but disappointment will do that to you. Being somewhat a «burger guy», this place has been on my short-list for awhile, now. The burger, more of a fast-food type of burger, really is very good, but also very salty, very greasy and very pricey, for what you get, or in this case, what you don’t get… options. Only one kind of cheese, here. Good old American singles. Been awhile since I’d had a slice of that, not there’s anything wrong with it, but I’d prefer Swiss or English white cheddar, any day. I’m not a tomato fan, so I was okay with the lack of tomato, but some lettuce would have been welcome. The fries were good, but here again, pretty freakin’ greasy.(The onion rings looked better.). The chocolate malt was awesome, but pretty small, considering the $ 5+ price tag. I do like the fact that they offer a few craft beers and cocktails, along with the milkshakes. The mayo bar is a nice touch, too. I liked the hip vibe and fun artwork, but honestly, when it comes to a fast-food type of burger and fries, Company Burger is on par with Five Guys, at a premium price. I don’t mind dropping $ 20/person on burgers, but it will be more of a gourmet burger, of which there are several very good ones in NOLA(Port of Call, Phil’s & Cowbell, to name a few), not this super-greasy fast-food kind.

I am not a huge fan of gourmet burgers, which is why I love The Company Burger. Their burgers are simply seasoned and taste amazing. I have only had the beef, but my husband prefers the lamb. Their hand-cut fries are out of this world! Have I ever mentioned I love french fries? :) I don’t like mayo, but they have a nice mayo bar with plenty of options to try. They have a large variety of milkshakes and malts, as well. You order at the register and then wait for your food — the register service is slow, but the cooks are fast. It seems they don’t have a great ordering system when they get busy, but they are very friendly. A small tip — the burgers are pretty greasy. I don’t usually mind the grease, but it does get messy. The only time I don’t like it is when the bottom bun soaks all the grease up… the bread becomes gross and soggy. However, coming here after a long night out is very satisfying!

First and foremost, I gave them 4 stars based on the cost of my meal, which was almost $ 13 for a single with cheese and bacon and a tea, but not the burger. Now, onto the burger which was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection, which was medium. There was a nice sear on the patty, the bacon was crispy, the cheese was melted perfectly and the bun, well, it was divine. This was my first time eating at Company Burger but it certainly won’t be my last. Now I just need to find a rich benafactor to feed my new obsession.

While I still wish they had other cheese options besides American I can understand the concept and reasoning behind it. I would put the Company Burger in the category of fast food burger, but not in the sense of low quality because the quality of the meat is far superior and can’t be matched. I more compare it to fast food simply because of how its made and assembled. It’s a thin patty so you will not declare how you want it cooked because it will come one way and you will like it. When I am in the mood for a well made and high quality American burger I will think of no other place besides Company Burger. The onion rings, tater tots and fries are all great side options. Don’t forget to scan the condiment bar for dipping delights! I also like how they have various specials of the day all of which runs out fairly quick. Company Burger is a simple American burger made exceptionally well.

I googled top 10 burgers in New Orleans. This place came up a few times… The reviews were good, a few bad ones, but not enough to to deter us from trying it. One thing that people complained about was a no lettuce. Before going, I called to confirm this no lettuce accusation. The young lady on the phone did inform me that they do not serve lettuce on the burgers, and they don’t even have it. Even with that confirmation, I still decided to give them a shot. Once arriving, it kind of reminded me of five guys, but with less topping options. We placed a order, and headed to our table to await our name to be called. Once they called us, we went up and got the burgers, everything looked good. We both ordered cheese burgers, I had onion rings he had fries. There is a mayo bar with flavored mayo. That was cool. The bun of the burger was awesome, soft, buttery with a little crunch, the meat was fresh, seasoned well, tasted good, and I really liked the onion rings. Now, the ugly. I’m eating my burger, then I look at it! It damn near raw! Omg, I almost died… I like my meat cooked, I mean cooked until it’s dead again, lol. This really disappointed me, because my husbands burger was cooked to perfection(no pink). Now I know some people like this, but I think they should have asked the preference of the cooking. Also, the portions are small … They barely give you any fries, and they are expensive for a burger. And the shocker… While sitting at our table, I look into the kitchen(which is in clear sight) and the chef is chopping LETTUCE! I had to make sure, so I walked up to the window… And it was LETTUCE! I have had better burgers, I can’t lie, for half the price… Really. I probably wouldn’t go back, honestly. I was really surprised at the reviews that people gave them.

When the owners of The Company Burger were choosing suppliers, they spared no effort to find the best, and ended up with Creekstone Farms from Kansas for the beef, and Wisconsin’s Nueske’s for the hot dogs. They make some condiments in-house, and the meticulous preparation shows. Company set out to offer the consummate American cheeseburger, and succeeds on every count. The classic comes with American cheese, house made bread and butter pickles, and red onions. Note to Company? Add a dill option. Thank you. The onion ring stack was superb, but I’d like a larger order. The beef blend that the owners devised with the Creekstone is absolutely perfect, very flavorful, probably a brisket, chuck, short rib blend, with just the right amount of fat. They have tots, sweet potato fries and pork rinds, with a large compliment of local craft beers along side some national brands and cocktails. Switch it up if you’re in the mood with a lamb or turkey patty; eschew meat? Try the grilled cheese. The Company Burger is located uptown, and open every day at 11AM, except Tuesday when they take a break.

I had the single burger and oh wow oh my! Delicious! The meat is well seasoned, the bread is firm and warm and the cheese goes so well with it. I had a side salad, very fresh. They do not put tomatoes and lettuce to the burgers, I was told they are going for a more traditional take on it and also that is very difficult to keep lettuce and tomato fresh(I agree). Even without these ingredients the burger is so flavorful you don’t really miss them. Place is clean and friendly. I would go back.
