Snap Fitness 24-7

This place is a box with refurbished equipment. Owners are inexperienced in the gym business and it shows. Watch you money folks! Join here, get fatter. :(

I’ve tried a lot of snap fitnesses and this one Is one of the better ones that I’ve tried. It’s bigger than most of the other ones in Texas and Arizona and there’s a lot of people working out equals more motivation in my eyes. Good job

Visiting for the 1^st time at 8p on a Tuesday night, I found it to to not super populated or sparse. Machine availability was a plus. So was the parking.
I didnt see a staff personnel on the premises, as expected, hence the reason you have the key card for accessibility.
I’m excited about this facility as the area is a fairly safe area, unless you’re a 26 y/​o school teacher driving a black honda, but I digress.
I will revisit this facility in the 24hrs or less future & see if machine availability is still a plus.
S/​N: Im praying they find the aforementioned 26 y/​o school teacher that went missing on March 2, namely Terrilyn Monette.

Great neighborhood place to workout without any of the long term contracts and ²⁴⁄₇ is a big plus.

My favorite part about Snap is that I don’t feel like I’m paying for a bunch of stuff or services that I’m never going to use. The pricing is simple and inexpensive, no contracts, and you can quit at any time. That is EXACTLY what I needed. I want access to cardio machines and an area to stretch or do body weight exercises and that’s it. There are also plenty of weight machines if you’re into that. It’s open 24/​7, but not always manned with an employee (which I kind of like).
There are three rooms in this gym: cardio and upper body machines in front, lower body machines and a few other things in the middle room, and then a large, roomy stretching room. I love that the front room is all windows in front so I can watch the passer-​bys as I work out (don’t worry, the glass is tinted so they can’t stare back at you!). Each cardio machine has its own TV with ipod/​iphone plug-​ins too. Parking is easy, too!
This is a CLEAN, no frills, convenient gym and I’m so glad i found it!
But look online at the corporate site before you sign up… I wish I had, I could have gotten a whole month free!

This is the cheapest 24 hour gym that I know of in NOLA. You can pay month to month or sign a year contract– they are both very affordable. It’s really small, but always clean and only crowded from 5 – 7:30. There are only 5 treadmills, but I’ve only had to wait once for one to open up. I like this gym because the patrons really just keep to themselves. People just coming in to get their workout on and get out… the small atmosphere keeps the chattiness to a minimum. Snap has more of a neighborhood average joe feel than a super serious meathead vibe. I also like that each treadmill has it’s own tv with like 100 channels.
I think they might have a few classes in the mornings but I’ve never been. There are also tanning beds.
