Ruffian Swap

I recently had the opportunity to attend the Ruffian Swap. What a neat idea. For a small fee ($ 20), you bring in clothes, those clothes you need to stop wearing or never wear and get a chance to swap. They set it up like a boutique and you get to go through everything to your heart’s content. The setup separates by shoes, accessories, shirts, dresses, etc. You can find some good finds. Saw lots of nice dresses and shirts. Also, an extensive collection of jeans. From the most recent swap I got a wonderful purse and shirt. Very very cool. Also got a chance to try some vegan candy and some red wine.

Also, there is actually a good assortment of sizes I saw things from S– XL, in jeans section I saw jeans up to 22W.

Finally made it out to a Ruffian Swap! This was the third or fourth one that they’ve done, and I wanted to go to all of them but was prevented by some random thing or another (like losing my car key, the ONLY car key I had, for good). It was even better than I expected it to be.
For $ 20, I came home with eight new shirts (three of them nice button down work-​type shirts) and a super cute dress. And I got rid of a bunch of stuff I never wear, so there was extra room in my closet for new stuff. Everything fits perfectly, and I couldn’t be happier with the event.
Even though there weren’t a ton of people at this particular swap (there was a lot going on this weekend), everybody found a bunch of cute stuff to take home. Seriously, I can’t imagine a better deal — even if I’d gone to a thrift store and spent hours combing through the racks, there’s no way I would’ve found this much great stuff for $ 20. Cannot recommend Ruffian Swap enough. It was amazing, and I can’t wait until the next one!
