Pure Tan Nola

Such a great experience!!! Some friends and I got together and did a girls night and had PureTan come out so we could try it out. None of us had ever had a spray tan before. I was a bit nervous with color and how comfortable I would feel having someone spray me.
Susan was so professional and just made you feel really comfortable. She answered all of our questions and went over everything with us in detail. She was very patient with us as we tried to decide if we had enough color or needed more.
We all loved how it turned out and were very happy. She even followed up the next day to make sure that we were all happy and if we had any questions. I’m not sure others do that, but I love the customer service.
I will definitely do this again and I already have other friends asking when the next tan party is because they want to join! Cannot recommend PureTan enough!

This is such a good tanning product. These girls are very professional and so friendly which helps tremendously when you strip down. Was so comfortable and pleased with the tan. The price is incredible ($ 60) for coming to you with everything needed for your tan. There’s no mess when they leave. I would recommend this spray tan any day.

I am a pale pale creature and every time I’ve ever gotten a spray tan was at a Planet Beach at it’s always come out way too dark or a little orange and streaky. Especially on the hands so I’ve stayed away from tanning. Well I was recently in a wedding and my dress was pale yellow, which washed me out. So I caved and decided to get a spay tan. I found these girls through a friend of mine and I was pleasantly surprised! They will come to your house as early or late as you need. They have a variety of different formulas for different skin types (who knew) and my resulting tan was great! Not orange or too dark but it looked like I spent some time on the beach and it lasted about a week. Very happy with the results and definitely will use them again in the future. Also the girl who tanned me, Lauren was so nice and friendly! Definitely a huge difference from the always weird vibe I got from the other places.

I’ve been using various spray tanning services across the east coast for years. I’ve bared it all for so many people pointing spraying devices at me that I feel guilty for not remembering their names or even buying them breakfast.
Three weeks ago, a moving company piled all of my belongings into my relatively tiny condo after my decision to become New Orleans’ newest transplant. Two days in, I had plans to go out that night but noticed my tan was starting to look splotchy. It was raining so I was immediately limited to mobile airbrush. After frantically googling and calling five or six places serving the lower garden district, I finally got a call back from the lovely Lauren within a matter of minutes. She was sympathetic of my plight and on my front steps shortly thereafter. With her tent in tow, she managed to squeeze through my maze of boxes and tanned me in my kitchen. It was by far and away one of the best, if not the absolute best, experience I’ve had. Why, you ask? (You totally asked, just read)
* The price. For the favor she was doing me, I would have expected to be shelling out at least $ 80 and this was before I even saw the finished product. You can imagine my surprise when I saw that she was only charging a relatively modest $ 60 (the price drops depending on how many people are in your group)
* Unlike most, she didn’t just have two or three shades called Dark, More Dark and Darkerer. She actually took a moment to look at my natural complexion and ask me a few questions before mixing the solution right in front of me. Since I told her I tended to have more red/​pink undertones, she made sure to mix in some color to counteract it and managed to defy the Jersey Shore Orange result I have gotten in the past.
* If you’ve ever used a Mystic — or even if you’ve seen certain airbrushers here in town — you’re familiar with having to apply copious amounts of cold lotion to hands, feet, nails, etc. only to be sprayed by an even colder solution. Lauren actually sprayed the lotion on my hands/​feet for me in a matter of seconds and when it came time to spray the actual magic tanning potion, it was warm! This sounds like it shouldn’t make a difference, but… well, it does. A big one. No more shivering like a hairless chihuahua, hoorah!
* The end result was perfect! The color was spot on, didn’t look orange in the slightest and lasted at least two weeks. Her attention to detail was amazing; she even made a point not to spray too much on my knees as it tends to get a lot darker than most areas.
I honestly can’t be more pleased with the service I got from Lauren. Stripping down to your birthday suit, especially if you’re relatively new to getting airbrushed or using someone for the first time, can be a nerve-​wracking experience. Luckily, Lauren was not only professional but genuinely friendly and very down to earth, making me instantly feel comfortable.
With the one experience alone, she has earned herself a new customer until she quits or I move again. Thank you so much!
On a side note, she only accepts cash (maybe checks as well), so be sure you hit the ATM when she’s on her way!
