Good service. After three days and nights in New Orleans from out of town, I needed some fresh clothes. My hotel service was ridiculously priced and not same day. Took my clothes here. Found the wizard in his back room(does he live here?). I as concerned my clothes would smell like smoke. It was about 10:30 and dude told me to get them at 3:00. I didn’t make it back until 5:00, but my clothes were clean and ready. He offers bleach for your whites and softener. Good service for 1 $ per pound.

The wash and fold service is fantastic at a $ 1 pound. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The waiting room is air conditioned and has a tv and used books to make waiting for laundry less of a chore.

Despite its location among the mansions of the Garden District, this place is a dump and a rip-off. It costs more than other places I’ve used, and the top-loading washers are old and unpredictable. My «hot water» wash was stone cold and the indifferent explanation given by a man who periodically appeared from a locked back room was that«people switch the pipes». There are some newer dryers towards the front, but all were in use by people who loaded them and left, so I had no choice other than the older, rusty dryers. I put in my quarters and … nothing … plus it didn’t return the money. When the man reappeared from his back room to empty clothes from the working dryers, I told him about my dryer problem. His response was rude and he pointed impatiently to a phone# to call. I waited 15 minutes for a well-dressed man to walk over from a nearby mansion. He simply shrugged when I told him about the malfunctioning washer — but I had no more quarters left and wasn’t giving up until my clothes were dried. In an attempt at pseudo Southern Charm he remarked that I should be «out enjoying New Orleans not washing clothes». I was able to transfer my wet laundry to a functioning dryer for which he put in 2 quarters. Never again!

Very pleased with the wash and fold service! Easy drop off, very reasonable dollar a pound price tag, and it was all done in a day despite the fact that there was a ton of laundry to be done. They folded my laundry better than I do! This make my life so much easier. Cash only, street parking.

I am super happy with this place. I dropped off a HUGE amount of laundry for their wash and fold service. Its $ 1 a pound, no tax. They had it all done within 3 hours. I am happy with how it all smells and looks– I feel they really treated my clothes like they were their own.

3.5÷5 it works i’m here every couple weeks as it’s the closest reliable place i can get the task done. the owner Mo is super friendly and will chat every customer who walks in. admittedly, it feels a bit pricey, but if you can get a bunch of stuff into one of the 3 biggest machines then the price works out. the dryers are a bit of a crapshoot in terms of heating power, i guess by when they last clean out the lint. there’s an air conditioned room in the back where you can wait(this is key in the summer!) and wifi so you can get other stuff done while waiting.

Nice, clean and efficient. friendly owner close to street car line & downtown. Ave Pub is around the corner if you want to catch a beer or a bite while you wait. Attendant on duty & a/c, tv room in back. Everything you need to get it clean!

This laundromat is very cool. They do a great fluff and fold and can get it done very quickly. You never know who’ll you run into when you are there as it’s so close to the prytania production hub and seems like every movie person uses this place. I like the lounge in the back where there is AC and a television and couches. Really nice owner and workers, too!

It is okay as far as it goes. Machines are a little on the older side but most seemed to be working. Space is a bit small, only two tables for folding clothes. I had originally come in to drop off laundry, but couldn’t find the person to drop it off with. I ended up just staying and doing the wash myself, which was fine(the attendant did eventually materialize when my clothes were in the dryer). Got a load done and dried in under an hour for five bucks. Not bad. Not too crowded on a Saturday afternoon. The air conditioning in the back room was a definite treat. Lack of a restroom is a definite disadvantage, but I got the washing done quickly so it did not become an issue. Another plus: there were no poorly behaved children being publicly beaten by their parents, which is a problem I have read about in reviews of other establishments. Thank God for the small things. Does not compare with a trip to the spa, but you will be fine here.
