This is a small gallery & framing shop with an eclectic selection of items. Since I was just browsing, I did not use their framing services. The selection of art was interesting and was not all one style or type like other shops.
LOVED the shop dog. The owner was courteous and left us to our browsing and made sure we were treating her pup well.

The owner is wonderful. I went in to have 2 prints framed right before Mardi Gras, paid extra to have them float mounted. There was a mix up, and they did not get float mounted, but she was totally cool about it and insisted that they be redone with no charge. She had them redone very promptly, and they look great! Will definitely be back with my next framing project!

Poets was my first framing experience and I must say that they made sure that it was great!
The owner was very patient with me when I came in with my piece. I told her that I had never framed anything before and she never once made me feel pressured to choose anything. She worked with me to pick out the perfect colors to go with my picture and my walls and also educated me a bit on frame intricacies that match colors and designs in my picture to make them match — something I never thought of.
The short of it is this — they are great! I used a local guys who is mobile for another job that did a good job as well but I felt swindled after getting such a phenomenal piece at a reasonable price at Poet’s.

I can’t stop going here. I have been collecting vintage posters in hope of one day having an «Apartment Therapy» makeover. I was a little nervous to let just anyone frame my collection, and well I found my place, Poet’s. I picked up my vintage pieces and they look amazing.
Poet’s is an art gallery in the front and a framing wonderland in the back. She has every type of frame you could possibly want, be prepared to be slightly overwhelmed. I was like a kid in a candy store, I wanted everything. After the excitement of all the colors and textures of the frames subsided, Poet’s helped me narrow down the choices to the best ones.

This is my favorite gallery in New Orleans. I’ve been to a couple of show openings here, and was impressed with the caliber of art on display. The shows I attended were group shows with edgy, gothic-​inspired pop-​surrealist artists. I bought a very cool art doll here by Jennybird Alcantara, one of the best pop surrealist artists. I love it!

The owner is a true artist. I’ve had all my framing done here and the work is exquisite. I’ve had photographs, prints and canvases framed and they take a very creative and professional approach to each piece. The gallery also has great work by established and emerging artists.
