I’ve worn glasses since the age of ten. Not BC glasses, but ones strong enough to read a chalkboard from the back of the room, or night at night with certainty. Glaucoma is also a nasty genetic trait in my family, so I trucked on down to the doctor, doctor who did my mother’s successful cataract/RK lens surgery. He’s personable, straight-forward, and offers a professional manner without seeming cold. In the meantime, I’ll be putting drops in my eyes, and waiting to see if my lashes will get longer while saving my sight…
