There are some great things here but 90% is really just plastic CRAP that clutters your house. All I wanted was green and orange Poms to hang and they had green. LAME. If you need decorations for a non-character party go to Michaeks up the street. Their selection is cast by comparison.

How could you not like a Party City? Especially when you live in a city known for parties?! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH My brain is exploding! This is obviously a chain, there Is nothing that is going to be exciting other than the fact that everything in here is awesome and kitchy and gross and weird. We had to go in to pick up some liquid latex(like you do on a Wednesday afternoon). The only downside to this location was the fact that they had one person working in the whole store. WHAAAA?

I prefer to come to this location in Elmwood because this store always has just what I’m looking for. On top of that the employees are great here! They greet you and ask if you need help, and if another employee passes you on an isle they will also ask if you need help. With me that goes a long way and that will make me want to shop at this location over the others! Great job!

It was Easter time and I was in need of some supplies for a get together I had going on. Given the fact that I was looking for Margarita glasses and they only had Ugly, Tacky, and overpriced ones at Rouses I had to come up with something fast. One of my friends suggested that I try this place. So I threw caution into the wind and went ahead and checked it out. This place had almost everything you could imagine for party needs. I saw things here for almost every party. Things like birthday, sports, prom, wedding and my personal favorite Divorce parties! They even had stuff for Luau. I was amazed at the wide variety available at this outlet store. The next time I plan a shindig I will probably hit this place up. The biggest drawback to this store was the customer service. The two people behind the counter were not very friendly. The lady who rang up my stuff at the register was less than courteous. She mentioned my total for the stuff I bought and that was absolutely it. That was some very cold reception if you ask me. I think this store would be a lot better off it they fired those two nimrods behind the counter! In short great selection for a lot of your party needs, but some pretty poor customer service.

If it’s «that time of year» i.e. Mardi Gras, St. Patty’s, Christmas, or Halloween you’ll usually find what you need in regards to décor. For being a bigger Party City, it has the same size costume area as the other Party City which is a little disappointing. They also both have what I like to call a Spirit section with wigs, sunglasses, eyelashes, and other costume-y things in a rainbow of colors which is pretty cool for team spirit. The helium balloon section is seemingly the same size as the smaller Party City on Causeway and Vets. They have a mecca of a candy/favor section for your kiddy or Unilocal parties that’s definitely larger than the other location. The only reason I would go here instead of the other Party City is to find a more extensive party«ware» section i.e. tableware and decorations, than the other location.

Like all other Party Cities out there, it is your one stop shop for all party needs. The great thing about this store is that they have costumes year-round, but not all the costumes are in stock. Double check on the return policy though, not all costume items are returnable. Staff is helpful, although some are more curt than others, but always fast.

Party City is another one of those national chains that discovered a market niche and occupied it with all the grace of an elephant. If you need party supplies, here is the place to get it all in one trip. I can often find individual items cheaper somewhere else, but usually that means a series of stops and a lot more time invested in the process. I prefer to be at a party rather than driving around preparing for it. If there is a special event coming up like Halloween, Superbowl, your pet’s birthday, or the Fourth of July, there are decorations, theme balloons, and disposable cookware all trying to tempt you to purchase them.
