Conveniently located on Magazine Street this is a boutique style t-shirt shop that focuses on Cajun and NOLA themed apparel. They also have a selection of art, some flags and other random items around the store. They really have quite a large selection for a space dedicated mainly to t-shirts so you definitely can find some interesting things here I haven’t seen many locals wearing around.

This is a cute little shop that carries tshirts with a New Orleans and Louisiana theme in a city that seems to be full of shops that carry tshirts with a Louisiana theme. Like Jen mentioned, they are from Laffy, so a lot of their shirts are Acadania-centric, but they have a good selection of NOLA themed shirts that are sure to satisfy anyone with local pride. Aside from shirts, they have baby onesies as well as themed coasters, magnets and post cards. Their prices are fair and are shirts are only a few dollars more than certain shirts at other shops. Also, their shirts are unique– they don’t «recycle» themes from other shirt shops and I appreciated that because it would be really easy to take a «known» phrase and put a new design to it.

I first discovered Parish Ink at Bayou Boogaloo a few years back when they were still located in Lafayette. They recently opened a brick and mortar store in New Orleans so I was very excited that I would be able to frequently peruse their wares and tees in a setting so much closer to me. Their tee shirts are printed on American Apparel tri blend fabrics, which are the super soft tees I am familiar with. They offer patches, pillows and postcards with their designs on them as well. Their price point matches those of other local tee shirt shops. I do wish their designs in store were more expanded as they are on the web, but, this is a new shop so I will be patient and wait to see what happens.

Cute new tshirt shop! Loved the old school vibe of their designs. The shop just opened in the last couple of weeks and is still getting established but it’s fully stocked with shirts for men & women and babies. They also had screen print art and flags. The themes are Louisiana specific with some NOLA stuff but they are Lafayette based so they definitely have a different perspective. They share the space with another Lafayette based company, Red Arrow Workshop and there are 2 staff members and 2 cash registers. The stock in both is interesting and the staff were friendly. I’ll definitely be back.
