Well, here. I live in Orlando, and a huge sucker for a fresh local produce, eggs, etc. But by the life circumstance, I am spending half of the month in Orlando and half of the month in NOLA. I had a very difficult time to find good, well priced local produce in New Orleans. By my surprise, I just found a few walking blocks, NOLA green roots. Let me tell you. This place is very very good, it’s none profit organization with a great volunteers– gardeners, who love to share their knowledge, experience to help you to grow your own produce. Besides, their little shop (Tue-​thur, 2 – 6 pm) carries good variety of fresh produce, grown right on the lot, by the store. Fresh herbs, potatoes, squash, tomatoes, onions, you name it. Also they got about 30 cage free hens that lay these superb fresh, delicious eggs

Local Compost!
Come on Unilocalers you have to check this place out! They have compost for your garden as well as all their awesome fruits and veggies. i got local peanuts from there the other day and my boyfriend inhaled them before i even got a chance to try them! They have also extended their hours till 6pm i think. Check it out!
