Took my boyfriend’s computer there after a bunch of virus looking popups took over. They were total professionals and I explained the situation along with the fact that he had hundreds of photos that hadn’t been backed up recently. The guy reassured me and within a couple of days, the computer was good as new. It was only about $ 150 which I thought was a reasonable price. Hope I don’t have to go back again, but if I ever have any other computer trouble I will be returning.

These guys are amazing. We needed to do data recovery on my husband’s hard drive, which, I hate to admit, was the second time we’ve been in this predicament. I was impressed that NOTS charges a flat rate($ 200 at the time of writing) for all data recovery. This was a drop in the bucket compared to the $ 2000 we spent last time! Aside from the fair pricing, I was really impressed with Cameron’s service – he was friendly, professional, and handled our case quickly. The place itself is easy to get to, and has free parking next to the building. I wouldn’t hesitate to use NOTS again.

Let me tell you a tale of one of the scariest computer viruses ever. It’s about a husband from another country, who wanted to watch every movie that ever popped into his head, for free and immediately, no matter what the cost. Oh he tried so many types of websites(perhaps even some unmentionables, I’ll never know), some with more pop-ups than you can ever imagine! Some had blanks for him to fill out for phone numbers and emails, and some only took an hour to download, meanwhile dumping important files from his hard drive and infiltrating every nook, cranny, cookie, and window that existed on the old computer. So around this time, the wife was reading a novel on the couch nearby said computer. There were no windows open, no files displayed on the screen when the computer began to yell and growl at her in a loud, horrible inhuman fashion! Then it played a very loud death metal song and some commercials came on at very high volumes. She tried everything, including muting the master volume to make it stop, to no avail… With her heart in her throat, she shut the computer off and called the fine gentlemen at New Orleans Technology Services because she had seen their sign near her house. That wife is me, and when I talked to them on the phone they were extremely friendly, listened to all my silly descriptions of what was going on with the computer, and while on the phone, they quoted me the(quite low) flat fee for fixing it before I even came in, which I liked a lot and you don’t find normally. In my mind, the damn thing was possessed and broken beyond repair. They had it up and running by the next day, complete with super strength spy-ware, and fierce warnings to said husband, to protect it in the future. Now the computer is running faster than ever and although I hope I don’t have to return anytime soon, I would recommend them to anyone with similar problems.
