My experience was exactly the same as Ryan M. With the exception that I did cave to the high pressure sales tactic with the 3 day cancelation of contract law in Texas. Now I have to go thru the hassle of canceling the job because I’m angry about the whole thing and I did want to get other bids before committing. I went to the website and realized there are several options which were never discussed with me and a bunch of the sales guys reassurances are not listed in my contract such as «they will replace any rotten wood or problems for the same price». I don’t expect to run into a issue but that was a selling point. I really wanted a lounge type tub and was only shown one option which is not a lounger. I really don’t like buying stuff like a tub without being able to see it first. I don’t even know what the footprint size is. compared to the outer dimensions. Online it also says they have a 50% off installation promotion going on. How do you know if you are getting 50% off if the bids are not broken down by labor and material? I don’t doubt they do good work but their sales approach is very off-putting. I could see them getting into a heap of trouble with deceiving elderly people. I think they should be ashamed. If they do such good work there entire company(including sales) should be held to the same standards.

NewBath really did a great job for us– TWICE! We owned a home in Houston and we used them there and it went really well. The price was a lot lower than we found from other companies and they went above and beyond trying to take care of us and work around our busy schedules. I am certain that the work they did there really helped us sell the house. When we moved back to New Orleans last October we remembered that they were based out of New Orleans and gave them a call. It was an even better experience than the first time. William, the consultant was top-notch — he helped us figure out which bathroom to renovate first and really helped us design everything. The installation went really well also — they came out the day they were supposed to — ANDONTIME! and went to work and finished that day. They were very meticulous and probably even left the place cleaner that I had to begin with. John — the installer made sure to involve us an make sure that we picked out where we wanted to put all the shelves, and the safety bar. I am really impressed with this company — we are going to use the other company they own — Max something — to buy windows next month. THANKS!

Not sure about the extremely expensive product itself, but I had a ‘consultant’ come over for one of their ‘free’ estimates that they advertise to look at my shower. The ‘consultant’ spent two seconds looking at the shower and then immediately went into sales mode. When I say sales mode, it was full court press. After 45 minutes of explaining to the ‘consultant’ that I intended to look at other avenues as well prior to making a final decision, I was apparently taking food out of his kids mouths by not formally, documents signed, committing to a sale of which he obviously gets a healthy commission based from the extreme sales pitch. In essence BEWARE !!! I can definitely see the elderly and young couples being targeted and pressured into a sale with this high pressure sales method, but fortunately the Marine in me wasn’t having his aggressive style and subsequesntly had to kick him out of my house.
