Mona’s Accents Florist

This business continues to be my go to place for flowers. There has never been a delivery that was not beautiful and on time either to our home, family, or friends. Since it has been three years from my previous report I decided to update my experience.
Recently a business deal needed a third party to provide information for a speedy and successful conclusion. And what would be a very nice way to say Thank You to that person? Of course a good answer is flowers to that particular person.
Ordered an orchid late Monday evening. Was delivered to my home Tuesday morning. The plan was for my wife and I to personally bring the gift. There is a slight problem however. The orchid is so beautiful (pictures posted) we are having a problem about parting ways with the plant.
May have to make a second order to Mona’s. Advice to you is if you are obtaining plants or flowers from Mona’s let them deliver what you order. Do not have it delivered to your home. That causes problems.

Terrible! No customer service. Mona’s accents is the worst flower experience you can find in New Orleans Louisiana. I booked a $ 65 arrangement of flowers online. They did deliver it the same day, but they put the wrong name on the card. When they signed my name «David» it was so ill eligible that my recipient thought they came from someone else.
I never got credit for sending the flowers. Someone else did.
After I alerted them to this they said, «it’s unfortunate for me my recipient had a friend with a similar name»
And they would not make it right. After asking them to make this right They discounted me 10%. An absolute appalling remedy.
I advise if you have important flowers and message to send DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Apparently their handwriting is that of an elementary student.
After trying to contact someone at the location I was told to try again after the thanksgiving holidays.
We should be thankful on thanksgiving that there are independent sites like Unilocal,Twitter and Facebook to keep thing clear and transparent.

Worst florist ever. Ordered a bouquet from them via FTD and it was droopy the first day and flowers wilted by day 2. When I called FTD to get a replacement bouquet, a representative from this florist showed up at my colleague’s office with no explanation and asked to take away her flowers (at my request). My colleague refused and then contacted me to ask why I sent someone to take back her flowers. The rep from Mona’s had no replacement flowers. This was a seriously embarrassing situation. And I’m very disappointed in the quality considering it was $ 130 arrangement.

I just received a beautiful potted arrangement of green plants as a sympathy gift /​acknowledgement /​what’s the word?
At any rate, the arrangement is tasteful, beautifully lush and just very lovely. I really appreciate the time that went into creating it. Additionally, the delivery driver was very polite and helpful, going out of his way to bring me the plant at work, as it was sent to a former home address.
Great service and beautiful product. I’d certainly recommend them and use the shop myself.

I was recently married during a destination wedding weekend in New Orleans. As this is a second marriage for both of us, we tried to keep the small event as modest as possible — an outdoor ceremony in a public park, no formal reception, only a handful of family as guests. I especially didn’t want to spend a fortune on flowers — we had no venue to decorate and we really only needed a couple of small handheld bouquets.
In my experience, it seems as though as soon as you mention the word «wedding», the flowers suddenly triple in price. That was the case for most florists I contacted in the area, but Mona and her staff were wonderful. I explained my situation, suggested a budget range to work within, and told them that I was not especially picky about the specific flowers used. For inspiration, I provided photos of some arrangements I liked, and also of my dress (red) and my stepdaughter’s dress (gold).
Mona and her team gave me a very reasonable quote, and created two really lovely bouquets in autumn colors, using lilies and roses in a variety of reds, yellows, and oranges. I was very impressed with their professionalism and their willingness to accommodate our needs, and the flowers they put together were perfectly beautiful. Highly recommended!
