Parking here is a hot freaking mess. Don’t get me wrong the shops are good if you can navigate the crowded lot. Love how close it is to Carrollton. That’s about all I can say.

This little strip mall is quite a change from the previous use of this land, but I am super stoked to have these national chains at easy access, and keeping some tax dollars closer to home.

I love Ross & TJ Maxx for great fashion deals.
I love Michael’s for frames, holiday décor and craft supplies.
Plus a shoe store and a pet supply place.
Excellent addition to my shopping rotation that doesn’t involve a 15 minute ride to the ‘burbs. yay.

So this is your basic strip mall of big box stores: TJ Maxx, Petsmart, Utla, Michael’s, etc… BUT it is in Orleans Parish and about 5 minutes from my house. Yay for keeping tax dollars in the city.
The shops were all clean and the parking lot was a little bit tight on the grand opening weekend of deals. There was a fair amount of security presence which was mostly reassuring. The staffing was high in the shops I went into as the store management anticipated the hordes of shoppers.
It’s a little confusing since there is a short bit of 6^th street that looks like it might access the parking lot but it doesn’t. You need to access at either Washington or Louisiana/​Toledano Ave.
Next time I’ll stop by after work to avoid the Saturday crush.
