First off, let me start by saying that my family has purchased many different bags and wallets from this store. You could say that we are already customers for life. However, when the Artsy bag first made its debut, there were some issues with the canvas that weren’t noted and changed until a few years after the bag first came out. My Artsy bag cracked in the top of the canvas almost immediately after purchase. Due to the fact that LV doesn’t offer a warranty on their items, I was very hesitant to follow up with this issue because the bag had to be brought into the store, I don’t live close to the store and don’t often travel to New Orleans.(And when I say I don’t travel there that often, I mean pretty much, never!) Also, anything you read on the Internet about issues such as mine had nothing but negative outcomes from bringing the bag into the store for inspection. This past weekend our whole family flew into New Orleans after a family trip and I brought my bag into the store to be looked at. The manager of the Saks New Orleans store, Manny Upton, immediately inspected my bag and even though my bag was outside of the date for replacement(by a whole year!), he REPLACED my bag! He and his staff were so kind to me. None of the things that made me nervous about bringing my bag in–«switching bags, rude, stuck-up,» — none of it was true! The whole staff was so wonderful to me. Even taking the time to notice that I had saved the original bow that was on my box upon my initial purchase. I just wanted to make sure that anyone that is hesitant to think that LV will make good on issues with their products does NOT believe the negative things that people put on the internet. Just because LV doesn’t offer a warranty doesn’t mean that they don’t make it right when something is wrong due to a defect. Manny and his staff exhibit wonderful customer service and I will absolutely purchase items from this store in the future. Thank you LV for standing behind your products!

Given three stars only due to the brand itself… service leaves a lot to be desired. One would believe that a top designer brand would ensure their employees were well versed on servicing people of all ethnicities. Better service would get four and half stars.
