Laundry Basket Mirabeau

What could have been a real pain turned out to be a pretty good experience! We unexpectedly had to find a laundromat on short notice and the laundry basket was nearby; I’m so glad we stopped here!
The attendant greeted us at the counter and explained that the place was either wash your own or pay service wash/​fold. She was extremely helpful In answering any questions and checked in on us and offered advice on which machines would save us money. She was so friendly and helpful!
It was a Sunday morning so there weren’t a whole lot of people in there and we were able to find machines without a problem. Also a great perk was free wifi, coffee, donuts, and orange juice! If we are ever in a position to seek out a laundromat again I would certainly come back here!

they have a couple tables in the middle of the place if you want to sit and read or watch whatever they have on the tv.
i like this place because at the time that i was there with my group (Summer 2008), there weren’t too many other laundromats open around the area and we were staying a few blocks away from here. we were starting to get used to the New Orleans humidity, but it looked like we had to make a mid-​week stop to here to make sure we had fresh clothes to change into at the end of our remaining workdays for the week.
so we managed to pass the time playing games with each other, while we waited for our clothes to dry.
