Went to a nautical-​themed private event here over the weekend, and found it to be a nice place. As far as an event venue, it’s a very blank canvas with a few notable highlights.
It backs up onto the canal, so every once in a while, boats coast by and it’s creates a picturesque, nautical backdrop.
The wood deck is spacious and the different levels make for good sections (as in, over here are the tables and chairs for people to hang out, over here is where the food goes and the bar and dj/​dance space are over here). I wouldn’t recommend dancing barefoot, though. The teak wood planks are a tad uneven.
The inside space, with its cream-​colored tiled floor and white walls, is quite sparse. It was blessed cool inside, though, so I appreciated it tremendously.
