King Star Cleaners

If you need to get your clothes done RIGHT I’d go here.
Unlike other small shops where they take their clothes some where else and bring it back, they handle everything with their own plant. They use a computerized system, so they can keep track of what you brought in and stuff.
They offer alteration services from minor sewing to hemming up my pants.
Always friendly and you can tell they are hard workers so be kind and thank them for their work ethic.
Come on! would you want to work in a sweltering heat of New Orleans!!!
I appreciate their service and their large parking lot, it is easy to get in and out!
If you want quality, I guess you gotta pay for it!

The King Star is a solid dry-​cleaner in Algiers.
While this location isn’t close to my home or work, it is where I bring clothes when I want them done correctly.
The shop uses a computerized tagging system which avoids the hand written receipts at other shops I have used. I always worry that those aren’t a good method of tracking items. This fear may be unfounded since i haven’t ever lost anything, but I do like the computerized method.
They’re cleaning and pressing are top notch. It isn’t cheap at $ 4 a piece, but they are the only cleaner who consistently gets my items the way I like.
Why three stars when it is a four-​five star cleaner? It takes two days to have your clothes ready. The other cleaners I use only take a day.
I do recommend King Star if you are in the area.
