I have been going to Kelly personal training for the last 3 years. My trainer is Harmon Dash. I have been extremely satisfied with the program. I have gained strength and agility. I have not had any adverse effects. I have not hurt myself by exercising in any way. Harmon is a wonderful trainer. He understands muscle physiology. He can make you stronger

My experience with Kelly Personal Training has been exceptional. Their workout is designed to build muscle mass and core strength. You only go once a week for 30 min to work with a trainer who assists you in your workout. The sessions are vigorous, deep and totally effective. Its a safe space where I feel fully supported. I love that they don’t have any mirrors in the room as it helps me to relax into how my body is feeling. After a few months of consistent training my body feels amazing. My core is super strong and the aches I used to get in my joints and back are gone. My trainer(Virginia) is super professional and really does a great job getting me to work at my limit. I totally recommend this gym and their unique training system. Their prices are very reasonable, you even get 2 free sessions to try them out when you sign up.

My disclaimer on this review is that I used Ultimate Fitness pre-Katrina. When they re-opened after, my $ situation has changed so I wasn’t able to go back. And when I did have $ again… well I became a lazy lump. The deal with this gym is that you work out intensively with a trainer once a week for 30 minutes. And you(or your trainer) push yourself HARD. I’ve gone away barely able to walk. And it does build muscle quickly. I discovered I actually had abdominal muscles, who knew? And because I had an appointment with a human being, I was much less likely to skip. The problem for me was I have multiple joint issues and even with a trainer the intense workout would exacerbate my existing problems. What I probably need(if I wasn’t a lump) is more a straight cardiovascular routine which you could also do here as they had machines in the back that you were welcome to use on the days you didn’t train.
