Great for bringing your kids or if you need a computer. they don’t have a big selection, but they can always get it from the Main Branch. Biggest hang ups are lack of outlets for your laptop and when school’s out, you can forget about things being quiet around here.

This the Harahan branch. It is a half block off of Jefferson Hwy. It’s a nice neighborhood library, not near as fancy as the East Bank or West Bank Regionals. I usually can find a book or two to borrow each time I visit. The new book section is fairly large and the selection changes on a regular basis. If it is an older book you want, you would do best to go on line and order it sent to the branch. The branch was renovated within the last couple of years. All in all a nice resource for the area.
