In the Master’s Hands

What a busy salon right along Elysian Fields!
I went with a friend to get her hair done here the other day. It was a bit hard to find from the street and we spent a good 5 minutes walking up and down the sidewalk, iPhone in hand, trying to use Google Maps to figure out what building it was. Apparently they lost their street sign in the last hurricane, but once we got up to the door there was some lettering there that clued us in that we were at the right location.
This seems to be a full-​service salon that focuses mostly on ethnic hair. It had a full make-​up display along with a make-​up artist working on clients, lots of product for sale, nail techs in the back, a handful of salon chairs full of customers and a barber in the back room.
Everyone was very friendly, everything was very clean, and most importantly my friend loved the work they did on her.
Street parking is difficult along the stretch of Elysian Fields it is on and, although there is room to park right in front of the salon, that space fills quickly and you may get blocked in.
