IHOP

I visited I Hop several times and it was AWFUL! I went to use the restroom and there were several big and baby reaches crawling around the restroom. Next when I got sliver wear there was a baby roach wrapped in the napkin. So in saying that I did not eat here because that is very unsanitary. I recommend you don’t visit this place.

I went here for a late breakfast yesterday.
The first thing I noticed about this IHOP was the smell. I think it was mildew, from the humidity. It smelled a little like urine to me, which was a bit of a turn off.
I ordered the berry crepes with scrambled eggs and bacon. The crepes were very good, though I could tell that they hadn’t put any effort into presentation. The eggs were decent. The bacon was the worst I’ve ever had. Barely cooked, extremely greasy, and almost all fat. I think if I went back I would skip the bacon and eggs.
Service was very attentive and friendly. My food came out very quickly (about 5 – 6 minutes). I would go back, but not be excited about it.

This IHOP is clean and brightly lit. The wait staff does, at times, appear to be understaffed. Generally, you are seated quickly. I have been to this location on several occasions, usually with the guy who works nearby. On one occasion, the waiter seemed more intent on flirting with the guy than actually assisting us as customers. That particular waiter was given my credit card, and the guy gave cash, and we asked the cash be applied to the bill before my card was charged. Well, that didn’t happen, which was ok because I did have room on the card, but if the waiter had been paying attention, it would have been nice. Refills on beverages are slow to come on most occasions. The wait staff does like to loudly carry on conversations with one another. The food is exactly what you would expect with a chain restaurant such as IHOP.

Great service, good food and 24×7 hours — wonderful. I have eaten at a lot of ²⁴⁄₇ places and this was great. I have also eaten at many International House of Pancake locations and this was very good.

This place takes the cake on worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. They were out of chicken and salad, and I, along with my husband, mother-​in-​law and father-​in-​law, had ordered five minutes before we found out. The service was extremely slow although we were the only customers in the restaurant. Our waitress kept forgetting a lot of things we ordered and brought out our appetizer last because she forgot about it.
Side note: My husband and I frequent IHOP’s, so we are aware as to what kind of restaurant this is. It isn’t 5-​star by any means, but this particular location is a negative 5 stars!

My brother wanted some breakfast type food from IHOP, but ordered the sirloin steak tips dinner instead. We picked it up and when we opened the container at home, there was a small amount of meat and side items. Where is the rest of the sirloin steak tips?
I told him this IHOP isn’t good, but he wanted it anyway. Lesson learned today. Never again!
Save yourself the time AND money because this location is the WORST IHOP I have ever been to.

Omg I’ve been here twice and have gotten sick both times and the last time I was there it was a dead roach by my table. The food is typical ihop food nothing great about it. I will say both times I was there the staff was nice so that’s a pleasant surprise. But please don’t go to this one bc you may get sick!

My over well eggs came out black and my sausage and hashbrowns were cold. I came to relax and read my book while I enjoyed my meal. However I could not eat this meal and the server never asked how I was. I stacked my plates out of the way and the manager picked them up and instructed the server to drop my check. The server did bring my check and cleared away my coffee cup which I was not finished with. She hovered over me waiting for me to sign my credit card slip. Which was very rude. She also never brought me back my itemized reciept.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here. Now I remember why.
Typically, we don’t actually dine in. We just order it to go. When I came, there was no parking for to go orders, which slows down the process. Then as I approached the register, I could see my order. «Perfect,» I thought. However, I didn’t expect to have to wait 8 minutes before someone acknowledged me.
Finally recognized, I had to wait another 8 minutes for them to cash out my order because I used a Groupon and only a manager can process those.
So, I’m watching my food get cold, while I wait for the manager who is helping the servers expo the food. The lobby is getting full and I’m not the only one pissed right now.
In fact, I had enough time to write this review before I was helped. There is a reason no one wants to come here. Don’t confirm their fears.
P. S. They forgot the pancakes.

Great service. Our waitress was super nice, very quick and checked up on us several times. The rest of the staff were very nice too.

Two stars would be giving them the benefit of the doubt… Buuuuut…
We came here on a particularly busy morning for this location. And probably should have known that we weren’t going to get good service after the host told us we would get seated in «a second» but was actually about 30 more minutes. When our party was seated, we noticed that two of the tables weren’t even cleaned yet, and the restaurant wasn’t even completely full. They were just severely understaffed (especially with the «All You Can Eat Pancakes» deal coming back in).
Our party of 6 was ready to order after a few minutes but again, our server was delayed from taking care of two other tables. Unfortunately, we waited another thirty minutes and didn’t even get our waters yet, or any sign that our server remembered that we were there. In that time, the table before us didn’t get drinks or food or anything, and even a family came in, was seated, and left after a few minutes in obvious frustration from the lack of help.
We were willing to wait some time, but honestly the service was inexcusable. Finally, we were just hungry and decided to bail since it seemed like the other tables didn’t even get their food yet. (And our orders of «all-​you-​can-​eat» anything seemed extremely unlikely given the server hadn’t even give us our silverware yet.) It just felt like a huge waste of time, and I’m not sure why the rest of the staff could not, maybe, reassure us that we would have to wait a while for our food. Seems like the management is sloppy and apathetic compared to other IHOP locations.

I was not at all satisfied with my dining experience. My server was very sweet. He made sure food was hot and drinks were refilled. The problem occured when a very rude manager by the name of Melissa, messed up my order, and had the nerve to disrespect me from the kitchen. The last straw was her blatantly lying to me about why she couldn’t honor my Groupon voucher (I’m the QUEEN of groupons so I know all the fine print) Quite frankly. I don’t quite trust eating this food. She made me highly uncomfortable and I won’t be returning to this location. It doesn’t pay to be rude. I will be contacting corporate shortly.

I called to place a phone order for a Philly with fries & the young man that answered the phone was exceptionally polite! When I arrived to pick up my phone the lady at the register spoke as well as the waitress that walked up. When I saw the young man with my food, I caught on to his voice. It was the young man that took my order over the phone. His name is Troy. Total sweetheart. Everyone was nice & my food was good. The visit, employees & restaurant were all great.

Okay, to start this review off, this is an IHOP, so don’t expect anything spectacular; IHOP food is IHOP food whether you’re in New Orleans, Beverly Hills, or Gluckstadt Mississippi. Moving on.
So we decided to stop in here after a night on Bourbon Street, as we knew that at least at IHOP, we knew what we would be getting here. We walked in and were seated in a prompt fashion. The facility was clean which is a nice bonus for an IHOP. We then were greeted by our server who was abundantly friendly and attentive; probably the best server I’ve had at an IHOP. Throughout the entire dining process, she made us feel exceptionally welcome. And for what it was, the food was quite enjoyable.
If you are looking for a friendly and cheap dining environment late at night in this New Orleans suburb, then this place won’t disappoint.

I’ve been here several times as it is not far from my house and needing a late night place to eat. It’s not hard to get to like others have mentioned, as long as you know how to use a service road. The service is horrible. The staff is very inattentive. They take forever just to greet you after your seated, I’ve had a few servers walk by several times and not say a word (when a quick smile and a «I’ll be right with you» would be awesome just to acknowledge my presence). Then they take forever to come back to take the order. I’ve actually left one time because I sat there for 15 min (in an almost empty restaurant) without the server taking my order (she took the drink order but I never got that in that 15 min). Only if I am craving some pancakes will I return. So glad waffle house is about to open down the street (even closer to my house).

Yeaaaaaaa for IHOP in #NOLAEAST helping to revitalize the area. But Booooooo to the serving staff’s lack of professionalism & destruction of my IHOP dining experience.
The downfall:
— seated food comes but there’s no flatware
— no complimentary water
— food is served across the table & not from the side
— & worst of all: YELLING/​CONVERSATION BEGING HELD ACROSS THE RESTAURANT BY SERVERS
The upside:
— quick seating
— predictable IHOP tasting food
Yeaaaaaa so needless to say, that’s my last time there. Sooooooo yeah, I’m good.

Not a place to stop.
It took 17 min to get a glass of water. When we asked for coffee she brought us a carafe but no cups. How do you drink coffee without a cup? She said she would come back but never did so we left. The restaurant was half empty but they had people waiting for a seat. If they only knew.,.

We were recently in New Orleans and stayed at a hotel which was just down the road from this IHOP. We ate dinner there one evening and breakfast there our final morning. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Walter was our server for the evening meal and he did all he could to make our meal a good experience. Ronnie was our server at breakfast and he was also very attentive and helpful. The food itself was good food like you would fix for yourself if you could get into the kitchen. We both had an excellent fish dish with broccoli and seasoned potatoes for dinner. I had the healthy nut and grain pancakes for breakfast and my wife had the breakfast with pancakes and both our meals were prepared well. The staff here has been trained to give excellent service and the manager should be proud of them.

Ok, I do have to agree with it being extremely hard to get to but the service here made up for it
We arrived in New Orleans for our cruise a few hours too early so we decided to go to IHOP. First thing was actually trying to get to it. That was a little crazy but after we finally got there we were seated quickly and our waitress was very attentive.
Food was standard IHOP food. I personally love it because there is a lot of different types of food you can order. Our food arrived promptly and was tasty.
Getting to this restaurant is a pain but once you do it is a clean and quick chain. Give ‘em a try that is if you can find it. One star for inconvenience but all in all I’ll give it three stars… yeah, why not.

This Ihop is remarkably hard and challenging to get to as it is located on a service road.
I don’t have to state what the food is like as it is a chain.
