Hotel Furniture Liquidators

I am so upset with their service and the way they treat their customers! We had came in and order a mattress that was far to big for us to move so we paid the 50 dollars to have them deliver it for us. We came in on a Saturday so they explained they would deliver it Wed. My SO had gotten rid of our old mattress wed morning because he was getting ready for the delivery and then I receive a call claiming they could not deliver the mattress until the next day. I called my boyfriend and he had then told me he already got rid of the mattress and it had been raining so no way of trying to save it. I called back and explained the situation and they said their truck had broken down so they were worried that they couldn’t find a truck in time (they called around 11am to explain they couldn’t deliver when they were suppose to deliver at 9:30am). I called the owner trying to understand where the mix up came from and he claimed I was lying! That they called earlier and I was fine with it! Mind you I am a teacher so I couldn’t even answer a call at the time he claimed she had called! We had several phone calls and he told me that they had said to me that I was the only delivery that day so could they put it off until tomorrow and I said yes! I explained (including screen shots that proved it was all untrue) and he still told me that he would look into it and basically accused ME of lying!!! We got our bed the next day and that Friday got a phone call from him claiming he could not refund our delivery fee (the least they could do!) but he would give us $ 50 to the store in an e gift card. I said whatever gave him our email (even though I doubted I would come again) and now it’s been since August and he never even sent the egift card!!! Seriously the worst business in NOLA definitely trying to scam and cut corners, I am reporting to the better business bureau as well.

HFL has such an amazing array of pieces — and a wonderful mission for environmentalism! Talking to Jarrod, the owner, I learned that they have recycled of 400 18-​wheelers full of quality furniture that would have gone straight to a landfill! Their student discounts are definitely worth the drive!

This review if for the commercial only, which has so many colorful elements to behold, I can only think of one term to sum it up: sursplendent!

Great company! Really enjoyed the experience. We got king bed, we love it! Furniture is in a very good shape, prices are even better!
I totally recommend you going there and checking it out. You won’t regret it!
