At these prices (about $ 50 for a basic latex gallon) they should be — especially since you don’t even get a gratis church key opener or a stir stick.
Helm’s has high-​end blinds and shades as well. In fact, at the Garden District location the window treatment specialist is often just as busy as the counter.
HOURS: THE GOOD & THE BAD
— Open at 7AM which is 30 minutes before Harry’s (where I go afterward for cheaper painting supplies).
— Closed Sundays! (Obviously Helm’s caters to nearby millionaires’ «staff» and not us lowly DIYers).
PRO TIP: from same designer friends, «Decorator White» ceilings are an industry secret to set a luxe cast to the walls. Who knew…

Great products, pretty well stocked store. You can’t beat the folks that work here as far a good service.
The store is so convenient and the employees take as much time as you need, are knowledgeable and are willing to work with you to tailor to your needs and desires (no strong upsell to more expensive products!)
