Ahhh the grittiness of Goodwill. You gotta love it, well I do. I can always find something to buy here. The days of dollar items seem to be gone, but you can always get something slightly used or totally worn out for a good price.
If you have little kids you can mop up on Christmas presents, if you don’t mind gently used items.
Like any other store, preference for items available is key, but if you feel like killing a few minutes or hours, you can walk out with some cool stuff. Try to plan to not need the restroom though as this one can be foul.

This is an awesome Goodwill. The place is neat, organized and filled with treasures. The staff is totally friendly and helpful. Last time I was here I got sucked into their Tshirt rack which is one of the best I’ve ever seen at any thrift store. Looking for an obscure tee broadcasting the local bake sale in Harahan, a Krewe of Mardi Gras past, or goofy taglined top purchased during spring break in God-​knows-​where? This is your place! My friends are envious of my «Restore Coastal Louisiana» and «New Orleans Sports and Social Club» shirts.
