Last night I called before we went to the store and asked a few questions. The gentleman was VERY helpful and because of him I said I’m otw! When we arrived the store was busy however we never felt rushed while we were at the register. The lady answered all my questions again and made sure we were happy with our purchase. Thanks y’all!

To be brutally honest this is the only gamestop I have been to since I moved down here to New Orleans. I started going to this one in particular because I use to live so close. If you are a gamer like me this place is a must stop shop. Besides all the console systems they got plenty of games. New and they have a really stellar selection of used games as well. I know that soon my PS3 will be outdated but when it is time to upgrade I will head here and do a trade in. Yes these cats are way better about trade ins than most other places(especially pawn shops). The staff here is also very friendly and helpful. In short friendly staff, cheap games, and cheap gaming consoles.

One of the best Gamestops in the«city» The employees are helpful and are knowledgable about every game. Their game stock is also great. This has to be one of the larger of the stores in the company.

I was impressed when I walked in and actually saw the employees waiting and assisting customers. The store seemed very clean and there wasn’t anyone standing around with the«I wish I could could some help» look on their face.

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Gamestop in general. I love video games but rarely buy them when they first come out. Usually I wind up getting a game used, which means I’m part of the problem. See, used games don’t generate revenue for game developers. Gamestop’s business model relies heavily on used games, and the market is great for my wallet. It’s a lot like shopping at Walmart. You can talk about it being an evil empire but the prices can’t be beat. So what’s a gamer to do? Luckily,(but not for my budget) this Gamestop of right by my office, so I can go during lunch and pick up a new release or something used to add to my collection. It’s such a big temptation and it’s often hard to resist. The store is clean and well organized and the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. So about once a month or so I find myself in the store feeding my habit. At least I’m in good company with a staff and customer base that are also gamers.
